  1. I asked this once before, but hey, new forum and all. Where did you play games back in the day? Mine was an upstairs family room we called the loft. It had vaulted ceilings, huge windows and was awesome. There was a beat up old console TV that I used for Atari, NES, SNES, and Genesis. Sadly, I don't have pictures of it, but post 'em if you got 'em!
  2. I constantly go around and around with my preferences. Right now I'm on an adventure game kick.
  3. "Asgard's not a place. This could be Asgard."
  4. Good question. I exported mine to Excel.
  5. Kind of like the end of Thor Ragnarok when Asgard blew up.
  6. Yeah, I think any old feuds need to be left behind. If Pat or any other non-scamming old member comes here, welcome them.
  7. BTW, Ian saying that moving to a new forum never works (as in us moving to here)? I've been on two other forum migrations like this. One is still going and the other lasted five years before it collapsed (due to an unforeseen circumstance that probably won't happen here.)
  8. Must have hit different parts of the country at different times.
  9. Yep, that's what I get going to any NintendoAge url. I'm on Chrome.
  10. I left work and switched to my tablet. Might be a cache thing. I can't see the old forum at all.
  11. I think they just killed the NintendoAge domain. It was working about a half hour ago.
  12. I imagine they're still on the NintendoAge site and the server is still going for a little bit so they haven't tried it out. But yeah, when they try the new digs it'll be a shock.
  13. I think that's a catchall for all discussions, but the archived stuff and one announcement is all that has been posted so far. No word on the database, etc.
  14. BTW, it's telling they have a section titled Video Games Investors Pit.
  15. The stuff on NintendoAge.com is still there. No idea how much longer, though. The new forum does work and our PMs are there on that one. edit: old threads archived here: https://connect.gocollect.com/categories/archived-nintendoage-posts
  16. This is why I really like the NES. The era starting around Sega Genesis/SNES is when games started getting a little more homogenized. Not that the games were bad, but a lot of the quirky, "What is this?" type of games started disappearing.
  17. We've only been active for what, a week? Need time for the Googlebots to sniff us out. Though some advertising elsewhere is a good idea.
  18. Bad weather? What's that? In those conditions, only an emergency.
  19. It's back up again, but it's been up and down all month.
  20. Does that make the Gyromite and Duck Hunt games that came with the Deluxe Set a double box?
  21. Mine is NES, as I love 8 bit graphics of that era. I've expanded into Famicom for the same reason.
  22. Spy Hunter (all verisons): It has an ending You get a motorcycle You get a helicopter and fight the other helicopters You get out of the car and do hand to hand combat, either one on one fighting or beat-em-up style
  23. By my job description I'm this guy. I like to think I have the semblance of a soul, though.
