I agree. This being the last system with cardboard boxes, I think it's going to become pretty competitive.

@skinnygrinny Actually, based on what I see in my custom stream, content items must include posts and not just threads. Maybe comments are the "likes"? But that I'm not sure about.

I was wondering that myself. Are content items only threads, or are they other things as well? For latest topics, I'm under the impression we can't really do what you are trying to do, skinny, due to constraints in the infrastructure.

I just hope they don't buy auctionalert too!

Has anyone figured out how to do a Latest Topics stream that is more like the original NA version? The issue I keep having is that they always get bumped up when new replies are posted, which defeats the purpose of trying to organize the topics by date and time created.

In the last photo, what are the three GBA games between the three Tales of Phantasias and the Mega Man Cybeast Falzar on the upper right?

Even though we say the post count and rep numbers are a bit of a joke or not meaningful, it is funny how quickly I transitioned to seeing those as a substitute until we get feedback points set up (if that's happening), haha

@Gloves I totally understand where you're coming from, and I agree with the spirit of your message. My "NA routine" was to check Latest Topics first, so I never missed a topic, and then check Latest Posts. While I get the impression this site is much more geared toward Latest Posts, I'm hoping to take the best of both worlds! Thanks for the info. I'll check it out.

The only things I might add are that 1) If it's rare, I would get the box as a placeholder in any condition if the price is right. I would never pass with the intention to upgrade on something I'm not certain I will be able to upgrade. 2) I don't think there is a point where wrecked boxes or manuals become worthless. Even when they can't function as intended (for example, a cut box from a rental case), they are still art and still an authentic piece of an ever-shrinking supply.

I'm so relieved to not be the only person who does this.

@Link Thank you, but I'm trying to do specifically a list of Latest Topics (not Latest Posts). Unless I'm missing some toggle in what you linked...

Sorry if something like this is already up! I know the best way to learn is by doing, but I thought people may benefit from having a central place to ask "dumb" questions about how to navigate and customize this site while we are learning. For example, I am trying to figure out the best way to replicate the simplicity of the Latest Topics button that was on NA without having to go into specific subforums, which made me think that other people may also have little questions but don't want to clutter the place with threads for one-off issues or pm mods and admin. (This thread is not a one-off question in disguise). Please lock this if such a topic already exists...I'm still learning the site!
