Amorphis was one of my favorite Finnish bands in high school(still is too!) I'm not sure how to classify the next band, Arcturus, but they are simply amazing.(Norway)

I have learned enough about stock trading/investing the past couple weeks to know that I dont know a damn thing about what im doing. I doubled down on my initial bad play of ccl when it hit 8 and sold out when it jumped to 12.50 to about break even between that and my pfgc gains. I bought fiat at 6 which has done well for me. Beyond that, i can't handle emotionally the roller coaster volatile stocks, so i put into WMK on jonebone's recommendation, which has done well for me and at&t @ 30. When I am done with fiat (probably at 11) I'll probably roll that into another nice dividend stock. I might buy into an airline if they dip again. Right now I need to hold on to as much cash as i can. But if timing works out, I might dip my toes back in and gamble on one of these companies making zero dollars like a cruise line again.

Any suggestions? I might import some and try them. It's a perfect lagering climate. I'd love to try a beautiful dopplebock or Stickebier if anybody makes one. Im over american beers except maybe 3 or 4 breweries. 90% of American microbrews are mediocre. The only true wonderful thing to have really out of American microbrews is the barrel aged imperial stout. Almost all other beers in America is the Ultimate Goose Game. Very unique but ultimately mediocre and uninteresting after the novelty wears off.

I Will say that Target > Wal-Mart right now. The general crowd is much more civilized and bought in to the corona rules. I still avoid going, but we needed printer ink and homeschool supplies and a handful of groceries. Amazon is delaying non essential orders, so who knows how long stuff would take to deliver.

Just got home from target. Probably up to 75% masks now. Work not nearly as high, maybe 20% of people wearing masks that come into the gas station. If that.

Hang in there, bro. I always find talking to customers about this shit helps. Everyone is dealing with it in their own way, and I find it helpful to chat with others to see how they are dealing with it. We are one world. We can draw strength from one another!

I've been looking at senior health For funsies. There are two publicly traded major providers for long term senior care, genesis(gen) and brookdale(bkd). Both have taken a beating with corona virus, but both were bleeding money before this all happened. Bkd seems to be in better shape at the moment, i wonder if they might swallow GEN if the opportunity arises in the near future.

Honestly I don't know. The staff here isn't tipped. I would certainly hope that waitstaff and others out there dependant on tips are getting hooked up. Because straight up, even the most successful small business owners can't afford that extra cost with only 50% or less of sales.

The best i understand it, the government is providing forgivable Small business loans provided no employees are laid off or hours are cut. Then there are restrictions like one can't cut hours and there needs to be a return to normal workforce by June 10th. But in a sense, if you work for a small business, the government is paying your salary right now with these forgivable loans.

Does Canada have any good beer from outside of Quebec? I mean, Unibroue is among my all time favorite breweries, but I know of so few outside of the belgian style breweries in good old French Canada.

I listed a game on ebay yesterday and got several offers. One guy had a million questions and requests for high res pics and sent a lowball offer. I told him I could get him pictures later, but I have many offers on it at the time. Then he asks the same million questions with a different account, buys the game with a third account and asks for those pictures before i ship. I just cancelled the order since by doing that he is preventing anyone else from making a purchase. I was 50/50 on whether I wanted to sell the game in the first place, but this is just annoying. If the dude is so gung ho about condition, buy a mint copy. Mine was clearly not. Nice shape, but clearly not mint/like new.
