  1. Thanks! I was doing that stuff already. Still only have 1 win. What I don't get is when does the timer start decreasing dramatically? It seems to be steady most of the match then just decides to deplete at a very rapid rate. Is it more beneficial to keep going to a level with Bowser to send Bowser to your opponent? Is it more beneficial to just do the first couple of levels over and over? Are there any bonuses for KOing people? Like in Tetris 99, every 2 KOs you get up until 8 KOs, you send an extra 25% of garbage to your opponent for the rest of the match. Is that how Mario 35 is, but maybe just for every 1 KO?
  2. Lol yea. I win just under 20% of my Tetris 99 matches (over 500 matches played). Right now I'm winning like 5% of my Mario 35 matches. Maybe I just haven't fully figured out the tricks for Mario 35 though. Like when you KO someone in Mario 35, do you get their coins? Does more KOs mean you send more garbage enemies to your opponents? Lots of stuff is not explained.
  3. Finally got me a win after about 20 tries. Definitely much more difficult than Tetris 99. Great game that I could see being expanded upon in many ways, and they could also expand it to super Mario Bros 2 and 3.
  4. Thought of another one that might be cool. Hammer bros
  5. No problem! I love your work and think others would too. Shovel Knight is a perfect mix of a modern game polished up mechanics wise, but still feels old school and has plenty of depth to it.
  6. Lol I won't be able to join tonight sadly. You gents carry on without me! Taking care of little man tonight but I'll mess around with it tomorrow if I have time.
  7. Dude I freaking love both of them! The 2nd one is especially BA!!! I actually have contacted the Shovel Knight staff before (years ago) and they let me ship my shovel knight copy to them to sign. I'll send them this awesome artwork as I'm sure they'd love it too! Keep up the awesome work! P.S you should definitely play shovel knight some time. It's a really great game with tons of extra free DLC where you can play as 3 of the bosses in the main story with their own unique weapon sets. edit: just sent the email! I will let you know if I hear anything back. I linked them the thread and images.
  8. Lol do you think a 2010 macbook pro would be able to run it? Also, really dumb question but can you download games from steam on a mac? Honestly never used steam.
  9. Hey thanks for thinking of me Jeevy! Is this only on mobile and PC? My laptop is so old. If it's on Switch, I'll probably give it a go.
  10. Nice! I love fire emblem awakening! What'd you think of echoes?
  11. This is cool! Do one of shovel knight!
  12. Maybe a question for anyone, is the bricking your switch thing only a problem with non Nintendo docks, or is it a problem with non Nintendo chargers too? I read this article that says this isn't a problem with chargers which is why I asked. I have never had problems charging my switch with my portable charger. Here is a pic of the one I use. It's a Merkury power pack model number MI-PB001. "It is safe to charge the Nintendo Switch with a third party USB charger or power bank. There have been no confirmed reports of quality charger damaging a Switch console. There have been problems with third party docks. But those issues stem from bad Power Delivery protocols on the dock's power transfer chip." https://switchchargers.com/safely-charge-nintendo-switch/?amp=1
  13. You can also charge your switch with any USB-C charger. I have a portable power pack that works very well with my switch. Glad you found an official charger though!
  14. Pokemon. Played it for the first time when I was 6 or 7 and actually built up a lot of vocabulary with words like deposit, withdraw, and then all the various moves in the game. Tetris is also up there as many have mentioned. It really helps when you're trying to organize things. Fire emblem has probably helped me analytically by helping me understand the best decisions to make when, with what character and how to accomplish tasks to complete a mission. Lately fortnite has been a great game to play to bond with friends and family.
  15. Definitely Geometry Wars Galaxies. What a terrible name. Makes me think it's a math game, not an awesome shooter game.
  16. Lol, a game all about greed. Seems legit to me! In all seriousness, it is a really good game. One of my favorites on the DS for sure.
  17. You're welcome! Glad to hear yours are all legit! I just checked my PAL Tingles Rosy Rupeeland and my Japanese Pokemon Diamond. They both have the matching characters and rectangles too.
  18. Fyi, for those interested, I made a thread about how to spot fake GBA games. Link is in the first post in this thread and here too now.
  19. Not a bad idea at all. @Gloves what do you think?
  20. Fake GBA games, they're probably the most faked of any game on a system, probably after fake DS games. Don't believe me? Type in pokemon emerald on eBay. The first 6 listings are all fakes. One of the listings has sold 238 fake pokemon emeralds. Do your part, report any listings of fake games, or as they tend to call them, reproduction games. It is illegal to sell bootleg games. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=pokemon+emerald&_trksid=p2380057.m4084.l1313 BUT MAKAR, HOW DO I KNOW IF MY GAME IS REAL?!? Unfortunately fake GBA games are harder to spot than DS games, but luckily there are a few easy ways to spot fake GBA games, especially when it comes to the most faked games, Pokemon games. The easiest way to tell if a GBA game is fake is the label, BUT only if it's a really poorly made label. Does my label look like the real label? Unfortunately over the past 5-10 years, scammers have gotten very good at making the labels look a lot better so you tend to have to rely on other methods now, which I'll talk about below. These methods will work even if you can't test the game, open it up, or see it in person. Opening it up to see if the board is legit is one way to tell if it's fake but I find that to be the most complicated method to verifying a game when these methods can do the trick more easily. THE 2 (OR SOMETIMES 4) CHARACTERS ON LABEL IMPRINT METHOD Real GBA games have 2 characters imprinted into their label (sometimes 2 groups of 2 characters). These characters can be numbers or letters and the same game can have different characters. For example, my Pokemon emerald has an 11 imprinted on it but yours could have a 12 or 08. If your GBA game does not have 2 (or 2 sets of 2) characters imprinted into it's label, it's fake. Sometimes the 2 characters are hard to see, but I assure you, they're there somewhere. I have yet to see a legit GBA game without 2 characters imprinted into it's label. My legit Drill Dozer has 2 sets of 2 characters imprinted into it's label. E3 is slightly over the Nintendo official seal and 09 is above E3. 08 is above the official Nintendo seal on my legit Zelda four swords. 11 is above the official Nintendo seal on my legit Emerald 09 is above the official Nintendo seal on my legit Pokemon ruby THE 4 RECTANGLES METHOD (FOR POKEMON GAMES ONLY) Turn over your main series GBA Pokemon game. Look in the top left corner. Are there 4 rectangles? If there aren't, your game is fake. Pics below are all of legit Pokemon games. I have a blue circle around the 4 rectangles, and then the same pic without a circle on it just so you can see the whole board. THIS IS THE BACK OF A FAKE POKEMON RUBY. Notice there are no 4 rectangles in the top left corner. There are definitely other methods to spotting fake GBA games, most of which involve the board. Please feel free to post your methods too. If you have any questions, please ask.
  21. Glad you found it to be helpful! The flashlight trick is pretty neat. Only works on those Pokemon games I mentioned though. Hopefully you don't find you have some fake games. And @sceptios thank you for your insight! The best way imo to determine if s cart is fake or not is still the 4 characters on the front label. If they don't match the first 4 characters on the back, it's a fake game.
  22. DOH! big brain fart lol. That is a DS lite duhhhh Makar duhhhhhh! So a DSi can catch these but not a 3DS?
  23. Well that was super weird. So I tested all 3 on my New 3DS XL. The fake Digimon World DS and super robot taisen og saga both worked. Both were extremely hard to get out of my 3DS. They were jammed stuck. However, my fake age of empires mythologies came up as Pokemon HeartGold then gave me a weird error when I tried to play it. Age of empires mythologies was easy to get out of my 3DS though.
  24. Mine is not hacked either. I believe all of these work on my normal DS and 3DS as well but I'd have to double check.
