  1. Congrats on your first win! That's awesome!
  2. Lol who am I emailing now? If Yacht Club Games responds often, I'm sure there are a couple other companies who would also respond. Heck, we have have a bunch of talented people here. If Dankey Kang and that cornball game (whatever it was called) can come to fruition, maybe Opty 64 can too!
  3. What a way to end the month. I love it! It's like a yellow Charizard with a hole in it's stomach meets a box knight. Very cool! Great stuff all month! Thank you good sir!! What a nice treat this has been.
  4. @CasualCart well this certainly is timely. Yacht club games finally responded regarding your cardboard knight piece! Here's what they said!
  5. I love it! Such a nice upgrade from my old avatar. Well this is definitely one of my favorites you've done all month. It's awesome!
  6. You are the real legend good sir! You are very talented. All these pieces have been great! Thank you very much for making that! I guess it's finally time for me to change my own avatar lol.
  7. Nice start! I have quite a few others I could recommend you if you're interested.
  8. NTR stands for Nitro which was the Nintendo DS' code name. TWL stands for Twilight which was the code name for the Nintendo DSi. So basically anything with NTR is a DS game and anything with TWL is a DSi game. Iirc, there are only 3 physical North American DSi games which would explain why you only have a small set of them. Is Foto Showdown one of the games with TWL on it?
  9. Lol we're tied exactly, that's awesome! I haven't played in a week so no, I'm still at 5,620 but I think 6,000 is doable
  10. That's awesome! Well @OptOut I think you have to change your avatar now.
  11. No need to be sorry man. I was just making sure I didn't miss something. Real life is always more important than a game.
  12. Ah thank you Jeevy! Good to know I haven't missed anything lol. I was getting a little worried I had somehow.
  13. Just curious, has the start date been decided yet? Just want to make sure I didn't miss anything.
  14. You don't need the light sensor to play most of boktai. I played 99% of that game inside my house at night. All you absolutely need sunlight (or a blacklight) for is the very end of the boss battles. I even made a thread about that here The games I said "have you looked at" are all games I haven't played either so I have no idea how they are but they look like they could be top 100 contenders. I'm not downing metroid. I said it's not my cup of tea but I see why people like it and that I would try metroid fusion. EDIT: I just popped in Metroid fusion for an hour and have already beaten the first boss. Much better than the NES version. Solid game so far. That makes sense about japanese games. I was just trying to throw out some suggestions. Everyone's opinions differ. There is no definitive list. Everyone's top 100 will be different. I'll go ahead and just shut up now though.
  15. Gotcha. Well I do have Metroid fusion now. I should give that a go. I stand by that boktai (the first one) is probably a top 5 GBA game. Key word being probably, as I have not played most GBA games, so I can't say for sure. From what I have played, it's definitely top 5 for me. What I can say is I really really enjoyed playing it. Every part of it. If you're going to spend $80ish on a GBA game, this is the one to spend that on.
  16. I have played metroid. Not really my cup of tea. I do see why it and castlevania are in the top 100 GBA games. Boktai is definitely a top 100 game for the GBA. Anyone who says otherwise has simply never played it.
  17. @Tanooki are you letting people edit your list? Like I said before, I strongly believe all 6 mega man battle network games should be on this list. They are all different. If you're going to pick just one, the 3rd one is often regarded as the best. Some other thoughts: No boktai? That's probably one of the top 5 GBA games there is. Also didn't see Pokemon ruby/sapphire/emerald. Have you looked at: riviera yoshi topsy turvy Breath of fire I and II yggdra union Summon night I and II Pocky and rocky with Becky Are you going to include nes ports? You had Zelda a link to the past from SNES. If you need another japanese GBA game, slime mori mori is excellent. It's dragon quest heroes rocket slime that we got on the DS.
  18. No way. All my favorite franchises are on nintendo consoles. For that reason, sony systems will never be better than Nintendo for me. I see why others would enjoy PS2 though.
  19. Yes you do! I played pikmin 2 again a couple years ago. Just as good as when I first played it. I also have not played pikmin 3 but boy am I excited to play it on the switch. I hope we get a 4th one on the switch too.
  20. What about something where you have a weighted lottery? As an example, you could have, say, 1-3 contests. Something like best new name for a well known character, favorite video game boss and why, favorite gaming memory. Then the judge grades the answers A, B, C, D, or E. A gets you 5 lottery tickets, B gets you 4, C gets you 3, and so on. This way everyone can participate, it's free, you don't have to have a specific system, you don't need to be a god at whatever game is presented, you don't need to be artistic, etc. Anyone could compete in something like this but it'd be a bit more fun than just a normal lottery.
  21. Not a lawyer but I don't think that applies here since this would be free: "A giveaway is considered a lottery when: the giveaway offers one or more prizes of value, the winners of the giveaway are chosen at random, and. the entry requires a payment of money or other consideration."
  22. Freaking awesome! Looks like this could be a mega man boss or solid enemy.
