  1. Yea we're just being nice to @CasualCart to make him feel better.
  2. Small update - I have confirmed you do get however many coins your opponent has when you KO them.
  3. Finally managed to get a string of 3 wins in a row!
  4. Dude this is freaking awesome! One of my favorites you've done so far! And to be fair @ZeldaFreak, I wouldn't have really thought to look back at older Zelda enemies if not for your name constantly reminding me of zelda lol. Now if only I had shigeru miyamitos contact info
  5. There are so many things they could do with this game. It has a lot of potential. They could also do one for smb2 and 3. The KO system especially needs a lot of work. Most games I get 0 KOs. And the level system is extremely broken. You shouldn't be able to just repeat 1-1 and 1-2 all day long to easily win.
  6. Yea I've found that at the beginning I focus on coins and getting my time up as quickly as possible. Then I focus solely on coins and topping off my time to constantly stay at 400. Then once the time starts speeding up I only focus on time. I've found that strategy and going to stages 1-1 and 1-2 as much as possible works very well. Boring yet effective strategy. And it happens lol. I've died on bad jumps many many times.
  7. I got a good laugh from all of those, especially the mug shot not even once meth one lol. Good stuff opty!!
  8. And hammer bros. Or maybe hammer suit Mario from smb3??
  9. Okay one more go at this for zelda. What about Armos darknut
  10. Ah yes you're right he did say 16 bit and above doh! Back to the drawing board again lol. Ghini could be a fun one!
  11. Alright alright, surprised @ZeldaFreak hasn't already suggested these. How about the red and blue lynels in the original Zelda? And then, not enemies, but these are some of the coolest bosses in a link to the past. Armosknight Helmasaur King Trinexx
  12. Yea that would be cool to keep going. Yea I realized that right after I posted that. Hmm back to the drawing board.
  13. Lol I think @CasualCart is going to need another month or two to cover all our suggestions.
  14. Like some of you, I think I've finally cracked the code to winning this game. I've adopted some of @Sumez' strategy with really pushing for coins in the early part of the game. Every coin matters, especially at the end when there are 20+ enemies on the screen at once and you need to recover quickly multiple times in a row.
  15. Check out MHHCD. Some wild swings with that one over the past week.
  16. They're the same https://archive.org/details/NEXT_Generation_26/page/n49/mode/1up
  17. What about koopatrol Bristle Or cleft All from paper mario the thousand year door.
  18. Hmm I've only met 1 person in real life who has ever played or even heard of boktai before I told them about it. The only reason I knew about it was because of the Django chips in the mega man battle network series. Anyone played these games? I feel like maybe the reason it's hard to compare libraries is because very few people have dived into the GBA library the same way people have done so for the SNES library. https://www.racketboy.com/retro/best-undiscovered-nintendo-game-boy-advance-gba-games
  19. Why does this look like the cartoon version of a guy I work with
  20. Lol thank you! I actually do have some screenshots I was thinking of adding sometime. Quick someone call Nintendo! Let's get this into a physical game with a manual pronto! Bloopers do seem a bit different. I agree that they seem to seek you out more and are a bit tougher to deal with. As for cheep cheeps I usually just take my time moving forward when they're around. As long as you move forward a bit when they start flying, then wait to let them come down, you're usually good.
  21. I can relate to this too. I only played a couple of the staple SNES game growing up. I knew zelda a lttp was a SNES game, but had no idea breath of fire I and II were SNES games. It's also worth pointing out that the GBA also had a good bit of solid NES ports. Someone else earlier was asking for a GBA hidden gem. Check out boktai.
  22. Idk about you guys but lakitu is definitely my most hated enemy. He's hard to hit from above, he moves around and follows you throughout the stage, and he drops spinies on you. Hammer bros are probably 2nd most hated, or blooper, then Bowser and flying cheep cheeps.
  23. Lol the 2nd "Pokemon book" in the letter almost looks like "Pokemon boob".
  24. Since we're comparing libraries and not console vs handheld, GBA gets my vote between these 2. As others have said, many of the golden age SNES games were ported to the GBA. GBA also gave us Pokemon, mega man battle network, boktai, advance wars, fire emblem and lots of other solid titles I haven't played yet but people say are good (yggdra union, golden sun, Astro boy to name a few). Now if you want the true GOAT library, that's the DS (until the switch inevitably dethrones the DS).
