  1. Good tastes and some tough titles on there, sent you a message.
  2. Thanks to everyone who entered, looks like #13 - RPGCollector is the winner. Happy Holidays to all!
  3. I would send one to each, but Wata is stopping new orders for 2 weeks until Jan 8th. So if you're in a hurry VGA is your only option.
  4. Sorry for just popping in as I haven't been paying attention here, but on topic of vaccine, I fully suspect that public schools will have it as a requirement for any students attending in person in 2021 (meaning after summer). I don't plan to get it so I hope they don't, but I think it's 50/50. Time will tell.
  5. $50? It's $85 minimum to grade a CIB and was $75 (no one uses Select I hope). Those mid level CIBs would do better on eBay. No one wants to pay the tax + $30 or $40 shipping on a $150 game. Sell that direct collector to collector or eBay and it would pull closer to $225-$250 IMO. Due to the sheer cost of grading, anyone collecting graded CIBs will bite at a certain floor, especially if any components are decent. I underestimated the Left Bros madness too, the sealed right is a much better buy there. Having said that, I think everyone who collects graded NES will want a graded Left Bros CIB... just that this is nowhwere near as rare as White Bullets Tyson, Zelda TM, etc. It was a much later release and massively produced. They'll be a good amount of SMB Lefts to choose from, at least CIB. Sealed probably not as much, but again, I don't think sealed Left Bros is nearly as rare as some hangtab NES for example. Population on one will increase faster than the other.
  6. Thanks for the stories guys, lists updated. 24 hours left if anyone else wants in!
  7. Eh, TP will get it's remake in the future I'm sure and prices will jump up again. TP was also cross platform with Wii so that segments the buyer pool a bit. If someone wants the original WW they have to go Gamecube.
  8. I distinctly remember playing through Zelda with my dad making maps as well. We also played thru and finished Final Fantasy with the NP guide, though we did use a game genie for infinite gold. Good times!
  9. Oddly enough, my parents somehow passed down the original N64 purchase receipt from 1997 to me as well. I assume everyone kept the receipts just in case of warranty anyway. That original receipt is priceless when it is yours, take good care of it!
  10. Quick little holiday giveaway as 2020 closes out! Real simple, open for 48 hours or to the first 30 entrants. Must post in this thread, and share a quick video game related Xmas memory. Short or long, doesn't matter. Here's mine: Christmas of 1996. I made an Xmas list and asked for a PS1. Deep inside I wanted an N64, but knew they would be hard to get and asked for a PS1. I was mentally prepared to get a PS1, yet opened an N64 and Mario under the tree. I was so amazed and played Mario 64 a lot of the day in the living room, something I had never got to do before. Great memories... and little did I know I'd wind up as a crazy N64 collector 24 years later. Post your experience and happy holidays! Entrants List: Cut-Off at 30 entrants or by 0800 AM EST time Wednesday 12/16/20 1) arch_8ngel 2) Aguy 3) xtremegamer 4) JediTrix 5) LutherDestroysTheGond 6) RH 7) dewisp02 8 ) JamesRobot 9) ZeldaFreak 10) spacepup 11) Psychobear85 12) TrekMD 13) RpgCollector 14) dvertov 15) MiamiSlice 16) imabadguy1 17) drxandy 18) Foochie776 19) BortLicensePlate 20) SailorScoutMandy 21) Tanooki 22) Khromak
  11. Before this sale, I thought this would be a $2000-$2500 game all day long, though recent sales had been more soft. Now that it's jumped you won't be finding it under $2500 for a long time, if ever sadly. Prices can drop after a sharp spike but they never return to where they were... Shout out to @milligangames for the CIB and CB in 2011 I believe? Paid $35 for a CIB and $15 or $20 for the CB. Believe I flipped the CB to a friend for $50 at the time and still have the CIB. My how times have changed...
  12. I wouldn't say skyrocketing, it's more or less sealed games doing that. They are definitely on the up though and very in demand, as just about anything these days.
  13. I'm still playing Valhalla, may check this out when it's around half price. Seems to be getting a lot of hype but doesn't have me sold yet.
  14. There's a button right when you print shipping through eBay to switch from "Paypal" to "Pending Payouts". So yes, you can just use the money (that isn't in your account yet) to pay for the shipping, then you get one lump sum payment in a day or two. A non issue once you notice that.
  15. Just stopping in to share some Christmas cheer! Mascot looks great!
  16. Dumped 445 of my oldest shares that were cost averaged around $12.50 today at 18.96. Still got about 900 left and I'll see what the future brings. Too scared of December 8th earnings to let it all ride. It's a 50/50 coin flip whether they beat or lag and what the stock will do then.
  17. The shorts should have already been squeezed out mostly. You don't get in this stock below $5 and just now decide to get squeezed out when the stock is above $18.
  18. Well I went from down almost 5 figures to up by the same amount. I knew the stock would surge on the next gen, just didn't expect it to get so beaten down during the summer and COVID. Strongly considering taking some profits here but the problem with gap ups is that you never know where the peak will be. It could easily come down from here or add another dollar or two. Just wait and see but do plan to reduce my exposure and lock in some profits.
  19. I still collect VGA but almost exclusively use Wata for subs right now. I have dealt with collectors that have a strong preference for one over the other and I'm happy I collect both.
  20. To echo this post, I dont break sets and sell out of them. In that case I say you don't sell at all unless your ready to part out the set. I was speaking more to the point of someone who has a lot of games and the game in question doesn't break a set at all.
  21. I sell things all the time so I can keep collecting for free, I find it to be a fun challenge. Pretty much anytime you sell anything decent the price is quickly outdated in a year or two, sometimes tremendously so. As long as you are spending that money in a way that brings you enjoyment, whether other collectibles or just the joys of living life, then you shouldn't regret it. Its just money.
  22. I've never inventoried, but I've always kept up with my list. I know its only 99.9% accurate because I sometimes forget to delete a sold item, but good enough. If you have a set you don't forget that part at least.
  23. It was much stronger than I expected but hype knows no bounds. The market is crazy hot right now and record sales will happen across the board. You could list pretty much anything mint right now and it would do better than expected. Market has been hot for a solid two years at this point, Jan 2019 or a bit earlier. I dont see that changing anytime soon, but a cooler market will eventually come at some point. Until that happens, sales will keep getting nutty every month. Just the way it goes these days...
