Dr. Morbis | 2,089
Do you know which code is on the Thrilla's Surfari Poster side, as that's the side that is distinct to this game? I'm assuming -2... Nevermind, I just saw your edit, but I'll wait till the end of the day to see if Doc chimes in before I upload the new list. Heh, why did that not occur to me? Anyway, thanks, that's all I needed. I'll update here when Gamefaqs posts the new list up. In the meantime, here are the two pieces of hardware I've added to the list, for the sake of having that info on this site as well for posterity: NES Controller ("Dogbone" Style) - Control Pad (NES-039) - Box (NES-A-CE(USA-1)) - Manual (NES-A-CE(USA)) - Nintendo Super Power Club Poster/Advert (GP-NES-USA-2) - Nintendo Power Subscription Card (GP-NES-USA-1) NES Controllers (Standard 2-Pack) - Control Pad X2 (NES-004) - Box (NES A CL(USA-1)) - Manual (NES-A-CL(USA-2)) - 4 Player Poster/Advert (4PL-NES-US-1) - "Classic Challenges" Poster/Advert (GP-NES-USA-1) - Nintendo Power Subscription Card (GP-NES-USA)

I made a lazy copy/paste typo, but there is a picture in the imgur gallery showing the code. I'll update now. austin532 | 467
Interesting. Is the product code on the poster on the inside fold or out?

The game was manufactured by Acclaim, so if anyone is to blame for an abnormality (like no code on the manual), it's them...

Dr. Morbis | 2,089
Nice one, austin532. So that's the non-1 version, or earliest version of the cleaning kit, judging by the box code. Gamefaqs still hasn't uploaded the update of the list I sent them last Tuesday, but whenever it does get posted, this Cleaning Kit won't be on the list yet, but that's not because it was forgotten... austin532 | 467
Yup, it's the original print with the TM SOQ.
Dr. Morbis | 2,089
Austin, do you have the part numbers off the plastic pieces for the Cleaning Kit? If not, don't sweat it as I can get them off mine. Anyway, the updated list (as of July 1st) has finally been posted on Gamefaqs and can be found here: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/nes/916386-nes/faqs/49943 As alway, I want to send out a HUGE thanks to all those who keep posting contributions to this project. Keep the submissions coming
austin532 | 467
All versions seem to have the same model no. of NES-030. Also another thing to note is that the early versions have like a nylon card while the Mario version has more of a fiber type card. Not sure when the switch happened. austin532 | 467
I had a sealed Bayou Billy but decided to sell it which I kind of regretted. Thanks for opening it. Gotta keep this thread going.
Dr. Morbis | 2,089
Yeah, thanks a bunch, Trifecta. I appreciate the posts and I'm really looking forward to hitting the 400 unique titles barrier, but right now needing 18 more games makes it seem so very very far away... Trifecta | 235
You're welcome. If the entire active community chipped in, we would have 95% of the entire North American NES contents mystery solved in under a year. Like Doc, I'm winding down, so I hope others contribute... austin532 | 467
Yeah, if people would open their sealed $10K+ games it would help alot. C'mon peeps. Pretty sure I still have a few unique titles to add to the list. Don't recall which ones.

Dr. Morbis | 2,089
Wow, that's a great one, Trifecta! Now we just need NG III and we'll have the trilogy in the bag. You're like a one-man wrecking crew over here. I need to get off my ass and pick up a few sealed games; I haven't bought a sealed NES game in almost a year... Code Monkey | 2,011
Somehow I already have a Ninja Gaiden II on my list and it has different contents than yours. Box is not the -1 variant, the code is NES-NW-USA. Yellow projection television warning is not included. Nintendo Power subscription card is PMG-DD-USA instead of PMG-USA.
