A Physical Game for Each Letter A-Z?

I've been sorting and organizing my cartridge collection for the past few months, and I was shocked to find that, out of hundreds of games, I just barely cover every letter of the alphabet with their titles.

The biggest and most surprising drought for me is the letter "U". I only have one physical game that starts with "U" ...
Ultraman [Super Famicom].

The other two most underrepresented letters in my collection are more understandable, "Q" (3 games) and "X" (3 games) ...
Q*Bert [Atari 2600]
Q*Bert [NES]
Quarth [Famicom]
Xenon 2 [Game Boy]
Xevious [NES]
Xexyz [NES]

What about you all? Do you have at least one physical game for each letter of the alphabet?

I'll exclude SNES and NES since that basically covers me many times over for the most part, but I'm assuming I still do with the rest...
Off the top of my head:

B - Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 2 (PS2)
C - Contact (DS)
D - Dead Space (PS5)
E - Elden Ring (PS5)
F - Final Fantasy Explorers (3DS)
G - Gradius V (PS2)
H - Hitman Collection (PS3)
I - Infinite Space (DS)
J - Jake Hunter Ghost in the Dusk (3DS)
K - Killer Queen Black (Switch)
L - The Last of Us Part II (PS4)

R - R-Type Final 2 (Switch)
S - Sekiro (PS4)
T - Turok 2 (Switch)
U - Undertale (Switch)
V - Vagrant Story (PS1)
W - Walking Dead Complete (PS4)
X - Xenosaga (PS2)
Y - Ys I & II (DS)
Z - Zero Time Dilemma (3DS)

Surprised there wasn't an "Under..." games or a video game for

He just didn’t hit in the right time period.

And honestly while he could be a good game, if it was on NES it would likely as not be another Rocky & Bullwinkle.

When you have around 3000 physical games, there's plenty to pick from for each letter of the alphabet. 😛
Fortunately my collection tracker allows indexing by starting letter, and sorting by personal rating, so that made it easy to pick out favourites among each one.

Aggelos
Blazing Star
Contra 3
Dragion Warrior 2
EspGaluda
Freeom Planet
Gitaroo Man
Hagane
Ico
Jet Set Radio
King's Field 4
Little Samson
Metal Slug X
Ninja Gaiden
Out Zone
Parasol Stars
Quarth
Rainbow Islands
Steel Assault
Tetris The Grand Master
Undertale
Vib Ribbon
Warcraft 2
Xeno Crisis
Ys: Book I & II

Picking random games per letter:

Animal Crossing (GCN)
Banjo-Kazooie (N64)
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PS1)
Diablo IV (PS5)
EarthBound (SNES)
F-Zero X (N64)
Gran Turismo 4 (PS2)
Hogwarts Legacy (PS5)
Illusion of Gaia (SNES)
Jet Force Gemini (N64)
Kirby's Return to Dream Land (Wii)
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Switch)
NBA Jam Tournament Edition (SNES)
Octopath Traveler (Switch)
Portal 2 (PS3)
Quest 64 (N64)
Resident Evil (GCN)
Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)
Tetris Attack (SNES)
Uniracers (SNES)
V - Nothing for V!
Wave Race 64 (N64)
Xenogears (PS1)
Yoshi's Crafted World (Switch)
Z - Nothing for Z!

As it turns out, missing games for V and Z. I used to have many more games - I've sold a lot especially in the last 3 years - could've had Zelda II and V-Rally to fill those gaps. The only Q game I have is Quest 64 and Octopath Traveler is the only O game I have. S games are the most numerous which is probably obvious.

I don’t have an inventory list of my collection. So I have no idea about this alphabetical categorization. Off the top of my head, I think Z would be the least of the titles. Conversely, what would be the most likely to be at the start of titles? I’d say S or T.
S - lots of SNES games I can think of that starts with “Super”, but this word also comes up in various other platforms.

T - lots of titles I can recall with “The” as the starting title.

Proper sorting disregards "the" as the first word.  This is because you would essentially be creating a separate full alphabet section right in the middle of the T section, making it take longer to find the title.  On the NES there's around 50 games that start with "the." Thats quite the sizeable chunk.  And what if you forget that it has "the" at the front, or think something does that actually doesn't?  Then you've wasted time.

I agree with your post. I really haven’t thought about it too much, but will keep this in mind when I finally be bothered to  do the inventory.
