Man this game is taking me back to the excitement of smb3 and I almost cried when I saw the nod to it at the end of the stages.

im not even playing it. I’m watching my daughter play she picked nabit (awesome pick for the kids). She said at around stage four “I like this game!”. Not gonna lie I did groom her with SMB/dh on the frontloader lol

i havent been this excited about a new game since the og gta3 on ps2

I forgot this was coming out. I might play it when I visit family over holiday, but I'm not buying myself. Haven't really enjoyed a mario game since galaxy, and even that was only good for one playthrough.

It's been okay so far.  I've enjoyed it but haven't been addicted to need to play thru it.  Play a half hour or an hour here and there with the kids and I'm fine shelving it after that.  I'll give it a 5/5 for variety as they change it up a lot but for some reason I'm just not addicted to finishing it either.

@DefaultGen you know what it’s nice to actually know this. I been going around walking the earth thinking “what happened to smb4?” And it’s nice that my soul can rest easy, finally able to accept  smw as a respectable part of the franchise. I had been harboring so much disdain for that game for so long…..

I could have sworn I saw the smb4 subtitle somewhere in the west back in those days as well. 

It must have made it through the cracks somewhere in marketing even if it's not on the box.
