Yeah I don't know what these guys are smoking. Warcraft 1 and 2 are unplayable bad now. And i played both at launch back in the day, same with dune 2. They have not aged well. Warcraft iii is still the pinnacle of the genre 20 years later (and spawned other 10/10 games like dota). One of the easiest 10s I've ever given out.

Not one of my listed goals for the year, but I did do something I want to share: Cleared the true last boss with no deaths. Not sure this has ever been done, or at least not something posted publicly.

Yup easy 10 for me, plays like an arcade game and the skill ceiling is obscenely high. The 64 version sucked compared to smk, felt like playing in slow motion.

Got the 19-4 Clear too. This took an unholy amount of tries.

My playstyle is hybrid das and tapping but I'm not a hypertapper as my max tapping rate is similar to what you get with das. I make use of das + extra quick tap technique a lot as well. I've tried playing around with rolling but can't get it to work at all.

19 speed took forever for me to get decent at. Still screw up all the time at it. 19 maxout is probably my next goal but that is much harder (current pb is 820k)

At long last I finally hit the max out in nes tetris.

You could do it thr old fashioned way and farm lives on stage 1. That's how I did it back in the early 90s lol.

It's my favorite game in the series by far, a true run and gun masterpiece. Gotta play on hard to truly experience it though.

Not a fan of pause spamming to play in slow mo. Worse than using save states.

Been away for a while but I finally cleared the ura loop of ketsui, a goal I've had for at least 3 years now.

I guess it would be same damn game i mnetioned in the other thread. contra legacy of war since I have the unofficial speedrun world record. No real competition though so its not saying much. I'm not even sure what my actual time is but I know it's much faster than the "official" record online.
