It's not blasphemy, I agree with you on the controllers. The stick itself is just ok, and the buttons actually feel kinda cheap compared to normal arcade buttons, a huge contrast with what you'd think based on it's looks. I do admit the sticks look awesome, but they are not the best way to play the Neo. I personally use a PS3 sixaxis controller or Saturn pad using converters to play it.

Right now, it's just like in order to grade and display the box, you have to have the other parts thrown in though they are irrelevant to what is being displayed. I guess you can inflate the grade by having higher quality carts and manuals, but that is just very deceptive and makes the actual graded shown almost worthless.

I never understood CIB grading, even less so than sealed grading. They should only grade the pieces individually. Like just grade the box by itself (or cart or manual) and call it a day. Combining the grades makes no sense at all. If you want to grade all parts, they should just grade the pieces separately and if they want, combine all 3 of them for display in some sort of "super case". I'm reminded of that gold NWC that was opened up and all 3 pieces displayed. Now I thought that specific case was ridiculous, but a similar concept could be used to display all the pieces of a CIB in a larger case.

Yes, and it's pretty much the only console I'm still looking to collect stuff for at this point. Sad there is so much bootlegging and conversion carts out there, but that's what you gotta wade through to get to the good stuff.

Honestly unless you were big into sealed games I think WATA has had basically zero influence on anything. I give zero fucks about sealed anything and honestly would never even have noticed WATA existed other than seeing it mentioned on forums. Sure I guess SMB 1 black box and other "first print" games are now ridiculously hyped by people from outside the hobby? Sell yours while the marks are still biting.

This is one of the few games that I actually believe does deserve a remake, and no those Xenosaga games do not count. That second disc just...didn't work.

I'd have to say that Metal Slug at $7300 is a downswing in price. I was predicting 10K+ on that game and it went for significantly less than I was expecting.
