For Licensed NES it was Vice Project Doom. Codename viper (still missing Hot Slots for unlicensed set, at least the one that was defined on NA). I actually thought I had already completed the set with my acquisition of Chubby Cherub but after going over all my games again after a move many years later I discovered that Codename viper was nowhere to be found. I think last starfighter is worse than just about anything on the nes. I'm still not fucking sure how anyone has beaten it, seems straight up impossible. Seriously, who is fucking beating this shit for the yearly thing? The only video I could find was Mexican runner but he seemed to be abusing pause to slow the game down.

While i prefer the nes nintendo version I must admit I like the gameboy version a lot as well. You are just required to become a tapper as the das is useless in higher levels. Still would like to max the score out but level 20 is brutal and you are basically forced to play it out with singles and doubles, which takes forever. What annoys me the most is you don't get bonus score for playing the heart levels, so doing a 19 start is pointless unlike in the nes version. Never actually touched tengen tetris even though I have it sitting around somewhere. I just keep hearing it's too easy.

This is definitely more fulfilling. That said, I wish I could just fucking quit something sometimes. Legacy of war is hot garbage, but I've already put in enough time on it that quitting would throw away all my work actually figuring out how to beat the game properly. Seeing as how no such video even exists, I feel compelled to continue for the greater good or some shit.
