  1. Started Pokemon Ruby and got the first 2 Badges. Here’s my team so far: Marshtomp Beautifly Ralts Nuzleaf Whismur Zigzagoon
  2. This topic was inspired by the book "1001 Video Games You Musty Play Before You Die". I've heard it's a good book, but it came out in 2010, so it's kind of dated. Are there any games you feel like someone MUST play before they die?
  3. Don't feel too bad for not being able to tell an authentic game from a repro right away?
  4. Here's a link someone sent me of how to tell if a game is authentic: https://theoldschoolgamevault.com/blog/articles/how-to-spot-counterfeit-super-nintendo-games-snes?format=amp
  5. Video game stories have come a long way since the "Defeat the villain and save the princess" days. What games would you say have great stories? I got all 5 main endings for NieR: Automata, and WOW, what a rollercoaster that game is.
  6. I bought the game from Amazon. I've always had good luck with Amazon, other than that time I ordered a copy of Mortal Kombat 3 and somehow got a copy of Q-Bert III with an MK3 sticker label.
  7. Don't authentic SNES cartridges have screws that kind of look like stars?
  8. Ever since I bought a copy of Mega Man 7 on Ebay that turned out to be a repro, I've been careful about trying to spot repro carts. Do you have any tips on how to tell repros from authentic carts?
  9. A fellow MSTie? I looked at the back, and the dot for the "i" in the Nintendo logo is a square, not a circle, a sign that a cartridge is authentic. I also looked at the pin connector, and it has the product number code.
  10. I need your help to determine whether this copy of Link to the Past is a repro.
