Going out for Chinese on Christmas Eve with my wife's side has been a new tradition in recent years. The place is always packed and the owner is so cool, always given beers and treats as parting gifts.

Christmas of 89. All I wanted was Mega Man 2. We had just purchased our NES that summer and only had Mario/Duck Hunt, Mario 2 and LJN's MLB (a favorite of mine because my Dad and I played the hell out of it). We rented games here and there but I was desperate for a new game. After playing MM2, I was instantly smitten; love at first play. I begged and pleaded with my parents for it during the holiday season. Even going as far as to "Smile like the Joker" if they purchased it for me. (Hey. it was 1989. Batman was huge.) I ended up getting the game and cheered and danced like a goon. As well as Joker smiles all around. My parents have it all on video and love to show it. Every. Freaking. Christmas.

Christmas Eve we go out for Chinese, then come home and open our Christmas PJs and watch Christmas Vacation. Christmas morning we open ours after coffee. lol Christmas Day is an exhausting day of visiting both sides of the family.

Movie: Endgame/Joker. I cant decide between the two. I need a rewatch. Game: Luigi's Mansion 3

8/10. Seen them live a few times. Some good classic radio rock.

Wario Ware. No matter how many times I say, "This is my last game," It's always 30 mins later.

Luigi is my boy! World 5 is the most difficult IMO.

Oof. It's a toss up between Mario 3 and Super Mario World.

I think my first game that was mine alone was Mega Man 2.

That's something I miss about working in the kitchen. I've done a few live segments at the news studio and they are so much fun. Did a few taped segments for Shark Tank and Man vs Food. The crew is there foooooorever and only end up with 5 minutes of footage. lol.
