  1. I audited my complete NES and SNES collections over the last year because I finally added all of the extras outside of game specific posters and reg cards. I added all of the warning sheets, Nintendo Power ads, etc that I had been keeping loose in a couple big boxes, trying for the correct version based on a couple lists I found and years of release. It was actually a lot of fun, I set up a table in my game room, threw on a record and poured a nice beer. Took quite awhile to do.
  2. I used to use NA, but migrated it to my own spreadsheet on Google Sheets. I update it as soon as I get something else in the collection and also update my collection tool on GameValueNow.
  3. Thanks for responding, but I just acquired both of them the last couple of days.
  4. They weren’t like $5 each or anything, but I negotiated down to about 60% of retail, not even taking the excellent condition into consideration so it’s likely even lower. Also the free box that’s probably $100 helps too!
  5. My quarantine was up yesterday, so I went out and hit up 2 local shops today. Found a ton of really nice N64 CIB’s (and 2 boxes) that I needed only the boxes for, nearly all of them fully complete with all extras like posters and reg cards, and over half are mint. Negotiated a really good price for everything, the one place even threw in a free Snowboard Kids box
  6. That he should send all his VGA stuff to Wata to reslab and send to Heritage
  7. I’m the same way, as I have to do business in some of those countries as well.
  8. I’ve picked up a couple of his albums on vinyl over the years from the cheap bins. It’s pretty good music, country/folk style.
  9. 8/10- loved it as a kid, still love it. Fun fact, the dad, Hoyt Axton, was an accomplished musical artist before acting!
  10. I got it confirmed yesterday. Sadly my mom and dad both have it now as well. My mom has severe lung issues, COPD, early onset Lymphoma, previously nearly died of pneumonia but thankfully she has zero symptoms. My dad has had a rough go of it the last few days, but seems to be getting better and has had no breathing issues yet, only fever, stomach issues and body aches. I feel great other than a dry/sore throat.
  11. Sorry man, would absolutely suck to watch your stuff get pilfered. This (and other assets) is why my fiancée is required to sign a prenuptial agreement before our wedding this next spring. No signature, no wedding.
  12. I picked room full, but it’s mostly based on finishing certain sets which will fill that room. Getting close though!
  13. It’s probably more complicated than anyone could possibly fully explain. But in simpler terms, those of us that grew up with these games got older and came into disposable income due to growth in our careers. We started buying back our childhoods due to nostalgia and slight cases of OCD. Then they started gaining in value, and others started joining the fun and trying to profit from it. Big events like Yahoo and every other publication featuring finds like the big Stadium Events find from 2010 started fueling it even more. Now video gaming in general is as popular as ever, and younger kids than ever are starting to explore the histories of the cornerstone characters like Mario and Zelda, sometimes due to their parents and other times due to their curiosity from what they’ve been playing themselves.
  14. RIP, besides being the definitive Bond, Sean starred in my favorite Disney film.
  15. Nintendo actually released something like that as an insert in Nintendo Power back in the day.
  16. I’m a Legend, I buy what I would want to eat if I still ate candy. Don’t get many trick or treaters so they get a massive handful when they stop.
  17. I think hoax is being thrown around too loosely, and most people just think that it just isn’t dangerous enough to shut everyone’s lives down due to it. There is a huge cost of the shutdown that is hard to quantify, livelihoods of people and business’ going down the drain, kids falling behind at school due to distance learning, increase in depression, suicide, domestic violence. It’s tough when a lot of the people that are most affected by those things, would likely be asymptotic if they caught the virus.
