A buddy of mine put out a record today via the late John Prine’s record label. I’m awfully proud, it’s an incredible, sad album about his life. Here’s the latest video from it, Bag of Pills.

These aren’t just newbs buying this stuff up. Just as in other collectible markets, lots of seasoned vets doing speculating now days. In general, this stuff isn’t going to get cheaper. Sure, there might be dips on certain items and outliers, but in general this stuff is gonna climb as long as video games stay relevant, especially if franchises like Mario and Zelda, etc... stay active. -

This is the first stuff I’ve seen all year in Minnesota. I found a couple cello packs of Prizm in San Diego in January. Opened them up and hit a red white and blue refractor of Zion! Still need to send it in for grading.

This made me run out to Target to look for some Chrome, zero Licensed Baseball on the shelf, but hit the motherload in Basketball. Each Hanger Box is going for over $80 on eBay ($10 each) and each Cello around $35 ($5 each)!

Tatis Jr. cards are going crazy. I loaded up on him the last year so I’m gonna cash out on some and hold some others.

10 for me, mostly nostalgia driven. Rented it when it came out and me and my bro kept it a full week so we could both beat it. Bought it from KB Toys later that year and still have it complete when the original price tag!

Ha, this is bedroom 4 but we only have plans for 2 kids and will upgrade houses before then anyway. If I sell it will be to buy a cabin! No plans after N64 as I already completed the other sets I wanted with NES, SNES and GC.

It’s such an incredible film. I definitely “like” a number of Nolan’s other films more such as The Prestige, Batman Begins and even Memento, but I’m not sure they are a better film than this.

Probably Nolan’s best film and that is saying something. A movie that will continue to rise up in critics all time rankings as more years pass. Incredible filmmaking. 9.4/10.
