    I like the Sage character at the top of the screen, but he needs a different background or border, as some of his character is blending with the dark blue background. Also, is that a "V" he's levitating, or some other kind of mystic vessel? Kinda looks like a capital U.

    Thief 2. Recently started playing this one for the first time after seeing Razorfist stream it on Youtube. On NES, picking up Solstice for the first time in decades to give it a fair shake. Like it so far.

    Yes, yes, ALTTP and Ocarina are awesome and all, but Zelda II: The Adventure of Link is still my go-to. There's just something about that little bystander...

    I keep almost picking up Owlboy, but some of the reviews always stayed my hand. Yours seals the deal. I'll pass. My gaming time is super limited, and I don't have room for anything that isn't near perfection, unfortunately.

    Takin' the kids out trunk-r-treating, since the traditional avenue has mostly died down in my area. Then home to watch Nightmare Before Christmas and pass out with some Glenlivet whiskey before the newborn inevitably gets us all up at 2. For your purposes, I'd look into ALTQQ's suggestion.
