  1. You know I just thought of something that I guess may sort of count. Ever try and fire up Dracula X (PCE CD) without the right system card? If I remember right you get this wonky mini game of sorts instead. Yup, googled it -- https://castlevania.fandom.com/wiki/Akumajyo_Dracula_Peke
  2. No doubt, I just forgot confusing it with High Speed. Same crew, same engine, same basic game with the same terrible added monsters on those amazing old tables, but Tradewest I guess just did the 2nd one. If it weren't for my interest in Famicom stuff over the last couple years and getting a number more carts, an AV Famicom, and some boots including a few smaller better collated multi-carts I would not have hit that number.
  3. We had this utterly ridiculous clown over on AtariAge we couldn't get rid of due to staff hopes or disagreement nearly a year, went by KirkJohnson on there, usually uses Inceptional on his blog and usual accounts to post to YT, discord and the rest. That headline might as well have his picture. Utter sheer entitlement mixed with an unfailing level of fanboy orgy mentality over the SNES. Anything less nice said about it, or how Genesis and TG could do whatever and he'd lose it. Consistently making up fake game maker x photoshop videos and images with goombas, alucard, and other bs to prove how the system could do all sorts of stuff others couldn't. Long story short, banned from probably a dozen sites and services, always the victim, always demanding people do WORK yet never would take any kind courteous explanations or helps to learn to do it himself. Anything not handed or spoon fed over turned into arguing, then gaslighting, then hitting ignore and (still viewing people with a click) trolling more dumb garbage things the SNES can't handle to make his points. This post maybe a parody, but that a-hole exists.
  4. Well I never saw this until it popped back up. I've been on a Famicom kick lately so I threw a lot at it that didn't apply as well, but somehow with blind luck and the rest I got 70/73. I was missing 1988-?, 1989-?, and 1990-? Ok Dance Aerobics I agree with, but Super Team Games wtf is that? And ouch, PinBot? Having looks I don't feel bad about the first two, power pad was nothing I had a single care about. I question a few, I threw guesses at early franchise entries and Lolo stuck but I thought HAL did that, and didn't Rare/Tradewest do PinBot along with HIghSpeed? I had those pinballs made bad with the dumb monsters roaming the otherwise great tables.
  5. Are there any interested in a large stack of uncut Pokemon Burger King card sheets? I've got 1-15 and another random set of repeats etc as well, just not a full set of 20. Also bumping to remove/mark sold a few things.
  6. Just so you know, https://engrish.com/ still is alive, and it has a facebook account and a couple others who piggyback off it to fun result. That said RH is right, but so is the comment about the fear of failure culture they pound into the kids with how schooling works. I mean if you don't crank out enough overtime in doing class and study you can't even get into a good highschool there and you're pretty well hosed. I mean I get not wanting to get caught fouling up stuff with the failure aspect. Where I am now having to work in the outside again some days, I still have a general grasp of spanish, enough I could catch enough of a conversation to get it, but not enough to put a sentence confidently back so I just don't bother. Japanese to a lesser degree at this rate but I keep trying to re-remember that stuff as it's more relevant to me.
  7. I'm fairly impressed to see (Kunio) Nekketsu Koukou Dodgeball Bu take the #2 slot as that seems almost out of nowhere, yet it does make a lot of sense. If you play that single player you'll get a taste because every character you can choose on field has a special ground and air shot, though the captains are usually the most devastating. But, there are a few other non-captains who have some utterly nasty moves when two go at it in 1on1 mode. One shot a bumblebee is a good one, it spins but also loops the area fairly tightly in the same space so it's hard to snag as you could easily catch it or catch it in the side/back and it'll clear the entire area more or less nailing everyone. The game has a lot of special attacks, probably the most of the system.
  8. Well deserved irony and karma combo.
  9. I dunno, and I'd take the N64 one too, but to think they put something as more fragile as a gamecube in there with kids to mess with being optical and all, unless they used the development kits with the fat carts with the handle on it for durability sake?
  10. Peak McDonalds? I see your N64 and Raise you a Mc Gamecube
  11. I take it this guy is smart enough not to use his actual address to ship stuff from? Then again determined enough one could just wait at the po box for pickup and tail the person as well. I mean otherwise yeah small claims would work, and in the off case he really pissed off the wrong person it could end up with some vigilante justice which he more than deserves in either case.
  12. I haven't run one of these in quite awhile but I'd like to see how it goes. I currently work 60hours a week, I'll try to reply as soon as I can, shipping may take a day or two as well. I'm perfectly good with trade as much as I am sale. Shipping will default to whatever it costs you to get it first class/usps advantage mail, but if it's more costly or you prefer I'll send it priority which is insured. Some of what I have here is co-listed elsewhere such as ebay. I will not pull it from ebay/elsewhere until a trade or payment is finalized. WANTS: Analogue Pocket Dock (BLACK), Games/Accessories for Famicom, Super Famicom, NES, SNES, Gameboy/Color/Advance, Sega Genesis/MD and GameGear SALE/TRADE STUFF: Assume it's game only unless noted for video games, also I keep everything very clean. Values are fairly firm but I'm willing to work with you. I have images of everything, just ask. 13. The most appropriate thing would be to draft a legal letter and send it to you demanding an immediate take down of your post under the DMCA because you infringed on talking about too much Nintendo in one sentence.
  14. I can't believe I'm asking this yet how things changed..., but, does anyone have the dock and ran the March 1st update? The line that update is kind of fuzzy in how you read it. Did they finally after like 3 years fix the dock so that it saves your aspect ratio/display settings so the GB/GBC games aren't cropped by default at the top and bottom?
  15. Doraemon is a national treasure, like tezukas astro boy/tetsuwan atom, golgo-13, and a few others that lasted like 30-50+ years. That definitely had some amount of draw to creeping into the rankings.
  16. If I were given a copy or it was a dollar or two at a flea market I'd grab it, but it's nothing I'd go out of my way for. I gave it a 5 and feel it's more than fair. I've had it a few times over the years since it came out, and each time I lose interest largely because I disliked the forced nuances and situations around primarily the special characters meant for a stage. I think it just kind of is a fun sucking pain in the ass more than a benefit. I didn't care much for how the Ai differed in general for regular units either compared to Warcraft II which enjoyed most of all and the original not far behind that. WC3 is far more fun as a story than a game...kind of like Halo.
  17. Not sure, but that startropics complete I have, and I just can not get into the game as the controls just don't work well after awhile.
  18. Wait what....hitler bowling?? There has to be some whack story to it.
  19. Special moves is kind of vague, so with that, I'd consider 'suits' special moves which to me puts Super Mario Bros 3 and Kirby's Adventure at the top of the list, so many moves there. SMB3 with the frog ability, hammer, tanooki, etc. Kirby and the so many differing captures and how that changes how to attack a stage or a boss. Rockman any of them making that list I think would be obvious too with all the robot master abilities and other specials like the platforms, rush dog, etc. Megami Tensei may get it again given the special you pick up with the demons you can recruit too.
  20. Winston Churchill and Benito Mussolini (FDR, Hitler, Stalin the other 3). The game I believe is named Daisenryaku (sp?) a tactical ww2 game where you can play whatever side you want to shift the war as over there, they're not hyper sensitive about which side you ally with compared to western countries.

    VRC6 on NES?

No problem. I'm currently hoping I can find some time to take an hour or so to do a bit of kind of just that anyway. I had fudged a cart convertor later last year one that puts NES into a FC. I'd like to take another shot and see if I can work one up so I can get the expanded audio and MMC5/Tengen mapper games working on my AV Famicom. I go often between using the 9" PVM and that, or using my honeybee/hi def nes enabled top loader on the modern TV to play and would like to have all audio/features enabled.
  22. That's not a bad deal. Mind you T/SRPG style games and I throw in X-COM types I'm 99% of the time not a fan of, utterly hate the cheap confusing scripted mechanics they have that lack creativity so I just don't bother. If I watched enough of this to see I could be fine with it, that's not a bad deal, but I think knowing how my time is lacking anymore these days with two jobs I'd probably get it on my phone and screw with it in my breaks there, between work, etc when it's easier just clicked and played than finding couch time.

    VRC6 on NES?

You have to do a couple of things to get away with this if you stick with raw normal NES style hardware. If you went a route I did with a NES HiDef kit from kevtris, then it just works and makes your a/v far nicer too on modern systems. For starters you'll need to rig up the console, and lastly, you'll need to rig up some 60 to 72pin adapter to get the job done. This site spells it out, don't really want to copy pasta all this: https://consolemods.org/wiki/NES:Expansion_(EXP)_Audio_Mod#:~:text=To get expansion audio from,3 (Audio mix input). Fun fact, if you like me also use a NES to Famicom (I have an AV Famicom too unaltered except to use US accessories on controller 2 I did myself) it also needs a tweak for audio to pass correctly, it's at the bottom of that page as well. Ultimately you'll need to be able to do a bit of basic soldering with some small pieces, wires, flux, and solder to pull this off both on console and on the adapter. I did find this and followed it last year, if you were to want to use an AV Famicom(or Famicom) and use NES carts on it, this bit of work is needed on a 72 to 60pin convertor to keep MMC5 and expanded audio support -- https://krikzz.com/forum/index.php?topic=5189.0
  24. I missed out on the GBA Shantae on accident, wasn't happy with the puffed up price over what Shantae GBC did complete, but well life and time slipped on that one. Whoever got it, hope you enjoy that one, seems I may just let it slide or go with Steam on that one. Speaking of, since they have their own little NA fiefdom with it, any word on Valis Collection 3?
