  1. I also sell in FB groups and it goes pretty well, about as well as selling on Reddit. Sometimes better. For that I take payment via PayPal.
  2. I don’t do local. I’ve been having great results with “shipping only.” No fees til Dec 31st and the shipping rates are cheaper than anywhere else. Try it. Beats any other platform on features. Only advantage eBay has is the bigger audience and international shipping.
  3. Saw that posted on Facebook, was that you @Hybrid or someone else?
  4. Yes but this was their second attempt at a business model. Their first attempt, when they launched... I think over 2 years ago? was they took full price pre-orders for these 3 games (Guilty Gear, Rolling Gunner, Slayaway), and they were explicit about these would be for the first print runs but each game could get additional print runs in the future if there was enough demand. No time limited pre-order period, no hard limits on each game, etc. I don't think they ever hit the minimum order needed for any of these games.
  5. Update: sold that Pokemon Sapphire box for $80. Got this Wii haul via FB Marketplace for $10!
  6. Only posting this because I recall someone on here bought like 10 of the similar DS bundles: https://www.ebay.com/itm/124440107615
  7. No the seller never looked inside the boxes. She’s too old for this stuff. Her son, when he was young, looked at his Pokemon Sapphire box and thought “this would be a great place to store my mix CD.” We all did stupid things when we were young.
  8. Update: the seller felt so bad she refunded me immediately! Whew. What a tale.
  9. I’m sorry these are the only two I have, not planning to sell them
  10. It’s not all bad. According to eBay I can still make a decent return on an authentic Sapphire box
  11. I mean a full DS set is dumb no matter how you look at it but these would be variants.
  12. It’s not that. I mean yeah demand for limited print games has dropped a bit because the market is saturated now but that’s not the issue with Physicality. The thing is a lot of people buy these to collect. They never open them. The appeal is not what game it is. The appeal is it’s limited. Physicality misunderstood this. They thought people genuinely loved these games and wanted to pay for them. Oops! Collectors aren’t so noble. Sorry. So when you explicitly tell people “this product isn’t limited, we will try to make sure everyone can have it” then no one wants it. Sure if they were selling the next Zelda or Celeste 2 then they’d get enough orders. But most games don’t sell well, and none of the 3 they had announced were enough to move the needle. So they probably got a pitiful amount of orders.
  13. ^ I saw this coming from a mile away. Was looking forward to Rolling Gunner... wondering if anyone is going to be picking that one up or if it can't happen at this point. Coincidentally, if anyone wants to buy the EU version of Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary (which is maybe the only Western release of the game now) let me know.
  14. If you think there are more than enough in stock now wait until scalpers start returning theirs. It's Super Mario 3D All Stars all over again and I LOVE IT.
  15. I was trying to do the Best Buy queue and getting very frustrated. Clearly I'm too late because my local store seems to be out of stock already. Maybe they'll have some available in-store for walk in orders but I doubt it. Re-sellers are ruthless where I live. I also missed the intermittent restocks on GameStop's website last night. So suffice it to say I was getting really frustrated. So then I had this idea to check the Target app since I hadn't seen it go live from Target before today. And can you believe it? It was just there... available for shipping... just like that. And I had a $10 gift card on my account. So I ordered it. Just like that. It almost seems unreal. Anyway I've been seeing people go nuts for this thing and I know some people have been saying they plan to keep it sealed "for the collection." I think people are being kinda dumb. I don't think this is going to be some super rare limited thing. Nintendo has already shown they aren't afraid to deliver a lot of units and screw over some resellers in the process. Plus, the Club Nintendo Game & Watch Ball Replica is a similar "collectible" and that hasn't soared in value even though it's 10 years old. I mean, if everyone is collecting the same toys to keep sealed just for the future value then that's not such a great collectible. Maybe I'm wrong? I know this is much nicer than the Ball replica but those are my $0.02.
  16. I don’t see anything “unprofessional” about having a no cancellation policy stated on every product and sticking to that. I think it’s nice that they offer a courtesy cancellation too. Maybe not allowing cancellations is illegal in Australia, I don’t know, but it’s legal in the USA.
  17. I mean, what’s the oldest game they’ve published? Windjammers was 24 years old when it came out for Switch in 2018...
  18. LRG is releasing Towerfall and Shiren 5. Definitely picking up both of these CE's. Very excited.
  19. Facts. Except for me. I'm no casual, I buy for mid tier prices all the time =P
