  1. I haven't ordered anything from LRG in a while, but I will definitely get Quake. The only decision to make is which system? And there will definitely be a standard option for Quake.
  2. 9 for both versions for me, but I prefer the remake simply for the extra buttons that help eliminate some of the item switching in the menu. Overall, my second favorite Zelda game.
  3. I believe it was Super Mario Bros. 2. I watched my Dad beat SMB1, but I didn't finish it myself until after completing SMB2 and SMB3.
  4. If it's not the original glue holding down then label, then it must be some type of repro glue being used and that's not legit.
  5. Yes, but they are referring to the Darker Side of the Moon which has a long ass level with no checkpoints.
  6. I did the same thing. In fact, I completed everything up to that point including, all coins, all stamps, all flag poles and all characters. The only exceptions were Champions Road and the Toad house in the Crown world. I gave both very honest efforts and eventually said to Hell with it.
  7. And here is one more subset completed this weekend. This is every game developed by SingleTrac for the PS1, which also just so happens to be every game developed by SingleTrac except for one game which was only released on PC (Outwars). If you can't tell from the games pictured here, SingleTrac was very good to the PS1.
  8. This is a sub set that I've been looking forward to completing. All 11 Collector's Edition 3 packs for the PS1 along with the 2 Twin Packs that I pictured a few weeks ago. The first CE that I ever bought was the GTA CE which was probably almost 10 years ago. Over the years I picked up a few others and even pieced 3 of these sets together (the ones that were pieced together have the proper packaging and SLUS numbers.
  9. I've never watched the actual movie the entire way through. However, I've seen so many parts of this movie, that I could almost give it a rating. One of these days I need to get around to watching it.
  10. Maybe I'm not understanding what you are saying, but the tank controls are in the game specifically so that the control doesn't change from one camera angle to another. If you take the tank controls away it makes it difficult to control the character as they move from one camera angle to another. Without tank controls, you could change directions while moving from one camera angle to another. Try playing Syberia on the original Xbox and you will see why tank controls are needed in a game like this. That's the point. Which part of "Survival Horror" are you not getting? Also, if you play on easy, there is more than enough ammo in the game to kill just about everything (from the Police station onwards). You only have to conserve ammo on the higher difficulty levels.
  11. Thanks. Lots of other sets are planned, but I'm just missing a game or two. I'm working on getting a proper list of developer and publisher for each game because I believe that will make up some more interesting sub sets. However, getting that information accurately is not easy. The Wikipedia list has numerous errors. Game-Rave has all of the information, but not in a way that can be easily collected. I might send send him an email and see if he has it in a spreadsheet or database that he can share.
  12. When a system is this new, (I still consider it to be new), my favorite game will vary depending on my mood. But if I had to pick one right now, I would go with Mudrunner. Horizon Zero Dawn is up there as well. Dirt 4 is also fantastic.
  13. I've got a big subset that I'm looking forward to posting that I just recently finished, but I'm waiting on the final game to arrive in the mail. So for now, here are all of the Caesars Palace games.
  14. Probably a 7 for me. I would most likely have rated it higher in my early high school years.
  15. I clicked on this assuming that I would be voting for both games together in a single pole. I'll have to give it a bit more thought before I vote for each of them separately. The easy answer is that you cannot go wrong with either version of this game.
  16. Just curious if you planned to mention that you ordered one from them for the normal price. I mean, odds are they were lying, but it's possible they simple didn't know another run was coming.
  17. That's pretty aggravating considering Analogue was very clear that another run was coming. Are you going to stop back by the store?
  18. Super NT, Mega SG and DAC restocks coming up August 9th. This is the first restock in a while where I already have everything, which means I can pass and my wallet is happy. Good luck to those going for an order. Tagging @DoctorEncore in case he wants to update the thread title again.
  19. I have re-read it as an adult (JP and TLW are the only Crichton novels I can say that about), so I'm comfortable saying the novel is excellent. The movie is also a masterpiece and the special effects look better than most movies made today, but to say it hasn't aged a day is a little misleading as some of the acting leaves a bit to be desired (not all, but some). It was easy to miss years ago when we were in awe of the dinosaurs, but it sticks out pretty bad today.
  20. I haven't read the novel Hannibal, but from what I've heard about it, I would probably prefer the movie.
