  1. It's a bit hard to see from this angle but I absolutely adore when kitties sleep with their wittle paw covering their eyes like that, it is so cute! And I also love it when they do cute things with their wittle mittens such as my kitty slowly reaching with his paw in the cup of my tea and licking it off his wittle fingers! Well you know almost anything a kitty does is so cute...almost... (start at 5:00 for the first video) Cat in last video: Oh you got me that cheap store brand crap cat food because it was "on sale"!? I'll give you "on sale"!!
  2. What matters is that us NA refugees were able to find a new home.
  3. As is the case in a lot of these kind of situations, the problem is what exactly constitutes content "aimed at kids" or "aimed at adults" or whatever and who determines which is which?
  4. Oh do they like to sit and watch you while you do stuff? Mine does! For example I was working on a puzzle a few days ago on the floor sitting criss cross applesauce (it was one of those big movie poster size puzzles from back in the day; look them up on Ebay) and kitty like usual liked to just sit there and watch
  5. I really hope this is being blown all out of proportion, I really do. I mean to hear some people talk it'll be the end of YouTube as we know it!
  6. So when it comes to Christmas music...
  7. How about a week before Halloween? PS: This strip is from October 23, 1959. So yes "Christmas creep" goes as far back as at least sixty years ago!!
  8. But you know how that one verse in that Toby Keith song goes right? You know curtain climbers, and kitties, and little fur ballsIt don't matter what you call em you gotta have a whole [house/apartment] full of 'emAin't nothing in the world like kitties! Get'cha some!
  9. Awwww but look at how cute those kittens will be! Still cats should be spayed/neutered so the guy in the above video doesn't get mad at you. PS: Am I the only one who just can't resist meowing back at a kitty and try to do it in the same way he/she meowed at you? Still if you try to do that in the above videos your voice box will NOT be too happy!!
  10. You did get litter boxes for them right? I personally use/recommend Titty Cats!
  11. It was more the way it happened. It was like our famous 1994 Miracle at Mardi Gras, only better. In fact our other second place teams, especially the 1966 Rupps Runts are among the most beloved in our history, not to mention our 1992 Unforgettables. I can't believe ESPN never did a special about the Unforgettables. As for my Bostonian wife's favorite team, the Red Sox their 1967 "Impossible Dream" season is among the most beloved teams in their history and they too came in second. Same goes for 1975 when they had their most iconic moment in their history with Fisk waving it fair and later getting that left field foul pole name after him. So much more often than you might think a team may have some teams that are more beloved and famous than even their championship winning ones depending on the circumstances.
  12. Sadly my apartment only allows one kitty at a time
  13. But there might be guys running all over that shot clock at the free throw line! Seriously the shot clock in the scoring bug/bar on the bottom is good enough! I sure hope they don't start doing that for UK games...
  14. Exsqueeze me? Why in the world of all places would the shot clock need to be superimposed onto the free throw line? Isn't the scoring bug/bar on the bottom good enough?
  15. I really hope someday the Kentucky Colonels come back (ABA team in 1967-76 that just missed the partial merger; the only time since 1900 Kentucky has ever had a major league team in any sport). Until then I got no real vested interest in the NBA (though I do collect some of the Fleer/Ultra basketball cards from the late 80s-mid-90s in addition to my usual football/baseball card collections) and will just stick with my Cats. Both the kind that play basketball and the kind that say meow meow
  16. Hell no, I can't STAND how some of these retailers are pushing Black Friday so far back that it's gotten to were their employees can't even get Thanksgiving (actually the ads call it just plain "Thursday" ) off with their families (rest assured the higher ups do!). Forget Bill O'Reilly's War on Christmas from the mid 2000s...it's now the War on Thanksgiving (and yes, like with Christmas back then, Thanksgiving is now a taboo word in the retailer ads; it's now just plain ol' "Thursday"). There is no good reason whatsoever why rank and file employees (except for the kind of things that really honest to goodness MUST always be open, like hospitals, police, fire, military, etc) should not have at least Thanksgiving and Christmas off to be with family. Even Scrooge of all people gave Cratchet Christmas off with pay!!! Besides all of that though, you can get just as good if not better deals online all year long and not have to fight a bunch of crazy human animals over some cheap cut rate TVs (you get what you pay for). Frankly Black Friday outlived whatever appeal it may have used to have a long time ago and it's also gotten to be dangerous for both customers and employees alike sometimes (google it for examples). I've never been to one and frankly I would never go to one unless maybe you paid me for whatever I picked out (and only on the Friday itself; no way am I going to help force people to work on Thanksgiving).
  17. Perhaps the Dragon Quest 5 world. Especially if I can skip the Ten Years A Slave part It would be cute to be married to Flora/Nera and have blue hair twins Hee hee I wonder what Flora/Nera's puff-puffs will be like
  18. I honestly don't know what could've possessed this guy to do such a thing. Incidentally, a similar situation happened almost 55 years ago... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juan_Marichal#Roseboro_incident
  19. Yeah that was a humiliating loss with our first ever game against Evansville...not to mention I feel really old considering that their coach Walter McCarthy was one of the 1996 "Untouchables" championship team and I was only 16 at the time...yet he's already half gray! Just remember we had that humiliating loss against Clown U in 2012 and we bounced right back to win the title...we are more than capable of doing the same this season. Worst/most humiliating loss in our history? Not even close. It would be by far this one on January 8, 1955 when we lost as home for the first time in twelve calendar years (no that's not a typo)...our fans at the time quite literally reacted like they just found out there was no Santa Claus. For more recent history, there's no way to top our 2008 defeat against Gardner-Webb at home in Gillespie's second game as our coach...talk about the quickest end to a coaching honeymoon ever!! http://www.bigbluehistory.net/bb/statistics/Games/19550108GeorgiaTech.html I had been staying out of this thread because I know some of you may still be upset at me because I got a little too excited/carried away about our miraculous 2014 NCAA Runner-Up season. I mean you guys know from my icon where my allegiance lies and why. You guys know who I'm pulling for to bring home the big gold trophy in the end.
  20. In another twist of irony, it wasn't that long ago that things like cell phones/car phones/smartphones were seen as luxury devices that only rich and/or business types bothered with. But today it seems more of a luxury to be able to choose not to have one, at least not all the time. No really, many (perhaps the majority?) of people nowadays feel obligated to keep themselves "on call" for work and/or personal reasons. So they might not be able to "keep the phone off" for any real length of time even if they really wanted to. I remember when the smart phones first came out and wasn't so sure if they'd catch on because at the time they cost about as much as a regular desktop computer and at least with that (then and now) you get to have a much bigger screen and a regular keyboard/mouse...and how are you supposed to be able to play games on it without proper buttons? Maybe you guys think I'm nuts but it's always been so much easier for me to just use a regular desktop (still could use a bigger hard drive though) with a nice big screen so I can say, two windows side by side or something for example and it's so much easier to type with a keyboard/mouse. Not to mention all those contracts and plans and such with smartphones are so confusing Don't misunderstand me though, I've nothing against smartphones at all...on the contrary I think they're kinda like electronic Swiss Army Knives and in the case of iPhone/iPad Mini/iPad, you can get it small, medium, or large just like fries/soda at a fast food place! They just personally don't do me much good I don't even like taking my 3DS-XL or DS-XL anywhere because I'm scarred I'll drop it or lose it or whatever. I really hope you guys don't think I'm too much of a weirdo for thinking this way...
  21. Ah but that's not the way it works exactly. According to most every Christian religion/denomination, one of the if not THE main beliefs is that one must be a Christian in good standing upon death...or else they are damned for eternity. I just cannot go along with such a cruel God who would just fry people for eternity just because they didn't believe a certain way. And suppose I did get to heaven, what about all the loved ones and such who were sweet kind people....but nevertheless are burning for not believing a certain way? I mean, how could I not feel sorry for and terrible for them? I mean one of the other basic Christian beliefs is to follow the example of the Good Samaritan (who helped someone of a hated rival nation get back on their feet after a priest and a Levite (a politician of sorts in those days) walked right by him) and help people and be kind to people even and especially if they're not exactly like yourself or your own country/views/beliefs/whatever. So in the afterlife, all of a sudden, are we supposed to be like Ivan Drago and have the attitude like, "If they burn, they burn"? This is why I'm not at all comfortable with not just organized religion but any sort of organization/group/whatever that expects you to just play along with their platform. I mean c'mon, I'm just a regular guy in a regular apartment in a regular community with a (to hear Cat Forum talk!) regular cat; I mean does what I think/believe make much of a difference at all in the grand scheme of things? In any event, I have to be my own individual; I have to be able to think for myself and draw my own conclusions about things; no strings attached. Given we live in this modern day and age of instant access to all this knowledge and such and knowing there are so many different beliefs and such; I just can't get behind any sort of notion that any one way is the only right way and all the others are evil/false/whatever.
