  1. A guy I worked with asked me to help him move. Not a big deal, right? Well he was moving far south, it would have been a several hour train ride, and he wanted me to buy my own train tickets. It would have cost me over $400 round trip plus two days of time to help him move.
  2. Yes it can, and it has happened to me here in Japan. I have had landlords refuse to rent to me, and companies refuse to work with me for not being Japanese.
  3. What didn't you enjoy about it? I thought it was the best Zelda game I've played since OoT.
  4. Ok but where does that get America? He is trolling to what end? Is it to rile up snowflakes, or is he actually working towards something to help the people of America? He ran for office promising to save coal jobs, and even if you believe that wind power is bad for the environment, surely you can't argue that coal is a better source of energy. So what did he accomplish other than making himself appear to have dementia?
  5. I know how to play the modern Pokemon TCG. I'm not sure exactly what you need help understanding, but I can try to answer specific questions you have.
  6. Anyone want to weigh in on this right here? Is Trump playing 100 dimensional chess? Is this one another genius troll of his?
  7. I bought a nice dash cam for my wife. There's pretty much no reason not to have one now, so I pulled the trigger and got a semi-decent one that records in 1440p.
  8. How much extra time does a safety razor take, and is it worth it?
  9. I'm sort of considering other options when it comes to shaving. I usually use an electric razor, but sometimes I use a cartridge razor if I need to make sure I do a good job. I've heard people talking about the benefits and disadvantages of other types of shaving. What do you all use?
  10. Anyone want to take a peek at this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama_citizenship_conspiracy_theories bad boy, and then tell me again how unfairly Trump was treated leading up to the 2016 election?
  11. I don't think that article accurately represents the real world. A PS5 isn't just $500, you are also going to have to inevitably pay for PSN, you pay more for games, you might end up needing extra controllers, and it's life span and usefulness are more limited. I built my PC for about $1300 back in 2012 and it is still obviously much better than any console, and better than most gamer's PC as well.
  12. I collect WW2 memorabilia as well, though I haven't added a piece to that collection in years. If anyone is interested in buying stuff from me, let me know.
  13. It's definitely still worth playing, but if you can use a Super Gameboy then I'd just recommend that instead. Much more pleasant to look at.
  14. Resident Evil 3 Remake or The Last of Us 2, or Breath of the Wild 2 if they actually manage to get it out within 2020. That will probably be a 2021 release, though....
  15. I'm not having any issues yet fortunately. I don't put a ton of hours in on my Switch though.
  16. A lot of people have had issues with joystick drifting.
  17. Through the 90s and 2000s my Uncle owned a game store called the Game Den. I had just gotten an N64 the previous year, and I really wanted Army Men Sarge's Heroes 2 for Christmas. I specifically mentioned that game, and was obviously hoping that he would give that game to me, since he always gave me a game I wanted for Christmas. So, Christmas Eve rolls around, all the family had come over and it was time to start opening presents. I remember eagerly awaiting the present from my Uncle but didn't see one under the tree. They told me he left it out in the laundry room and to go get it. I go out there, and obviously see a loose N64 cart wrapped in gift wrap. I bring it back out to the living room, open it up, and...... Saw the second hand copy of Bass Hunter 64 that he got for it. Obviously I was pretty disappointed. In hindsight, it was a pretty hilarious joke, but I didn't think so back then. p.s. I do have a shipping address in the US.
  18. Well the PS3 launched at like $700 and we all saw how that played out. Fortunately they were able to save themselves later on with big time new IPs like Uncharted and Last of Us, but it seemed like it nearly sank them.
  19. If the cost of the next gen consoles exceeds like 300 or 400 dollars, then you're probably just better off building a PC. I felt that the Switch was a reasonable cost of entry for a company with really good IPs. I am not about to pay $400 for a new xbox if all they will release are games that go right to PC anyway.
  20. To be honest, in regards to the PS5, pretty much the only way I'll be getting it is if it's backwards compatible. I have actually bought two PS4 consoles over the years, and I guess in general, feel that I've gotten enough value out of them.... But as time goes on I find myself console gaming less, and PC gaming much more. As for the xbox, it pretty much needs to be backwards compatible because it feels like they've barely released anything worth buying that you can't already get on PS4 or PC. It is highly unlikely I will buy this at any time during it's console life.
  21. Those were my thoughts. Worst case scenario if I get a counterfeit copy of ken griffey jr MLB then I'll shell out the $4 to get a new one.
  22. I used to like the mini red baron pepperoni pizzas. Also tombstone pizzas are pretty good, but don't forget to remove the cardboard from under it or you're going to have a bad day.
