Yeah, I should also clarify that the need for overlays is a personal (OCD) one and not for a feeling completeness or presumption of added monetary value. Could you link or PM me his info? That sounds like something I should probably bite the bullet on.

When the official announcement hits (and @trj22487 how did you stumble onto this?), I really hope that they at least have the decency to put nintendoage.com into read-only mode until it's shut down. Nothing moving forward (and since a day or so ago) is going to make it over. So it's a black hole.

Both are a pain in the ass, lol. Along with A5200, I feel like I spend more time tracking down games with overlays than anything else. I'm not even a box/manual guy but overlays seem essential.

That's something I considered. Even further, who's to say that the cutover to the new site will be the latest data? They haven't disclosed any details about putting the current site into read-only mode or wholly taking it down for a proper migration. For all we know the DNS cutover will happen and it'll have content that's old.

A local game store, who you really have to work at to get a deal from, had probably 200 Atari 2600 games. All junk commons in garbage shape, and unless you were ready to haggle, he'd tell you they were $5/each. Ridiculous. About a year ago, evidently someone came in and bought ALL of them. There were at least 20 copies of Combat in that lot. I have no idea if it was an overly ambitious reseller or what, but I can tell you that he definitely overpaid for that lot even if he worked out a deal. Hope it worked out for him. Even at $1/game he would have been overpaying for what was there. Said game store is finally rebuilding their stock and I've been finding a lot of solid 2600 and 5200 titles. Here's to hoping Atari collecting stabilizes once again and doesn't get wild like newer consoles.
