  1. I have one, $MCOA...has not been doing well. Maybe bring your luck?
  2. @PuppyWafflescongratulations on the the first Pico charm! You are set up with that and the funtastic N64. For the import charm, you will need to post a picture (if they are all on a bookcase, one picture is fine) or a link to an imgr folder (or similar).
  3. Seems like a small amount of complaints. Benefit of the Sage being home, we get more doodles from @DefaultGen
  4. Not is dark mode though Why is the sage to home page a bad thing?
  5. Welcome @karljobst After the dust settles, hope you stick around and checkout the rest of the site. Plenty of conversation about games (collecting and playing), but also competitions, game nights, and a growing homebrew section. I am hoping one day for spreedruns of homebrew games to make traction here.
  6. @Spookyman212Got both your scores up! Keep it up!
  7. Yep @Tanookipost a picture and we can give you the charm.
  8. @JamesRobotwe did play it for the 2020 Homebrew Leader Board Competition. Great game!
  9. I back projects on Kickstarter and will continue to do so. Overall positive on my end. So far backed 40 projects. 39 have been successfully funded, of those 25 have delivered, 12 are still in development, and 2 are still in their campaign period. The 12 that are still in development, I think 5 are past the target date, but all have been giving updates. The 40 projects have been: - 22 homebrews - 9 Indie PC / Apple II / or switch game - 3 board / tabletop game - 4 some sort of tech - 2 books
  10. Hey @RetroMichel! For the short quick to the answer: 1. Turbo Duo or PC engine Duo (Japanese version ) is an all in one console. It plays both turbochips ( or HuCards for PC engine) and CDs out of the box. 1b. If you have a Turbografx 16, instead you can get the CD ROM attachment. It comes with a base that connects to the rear expansion port and a CD drive module. You need a particular tubochip as well in the card slot (this is not required for Duo). The drive is called CD ROM ROM for PC engine. 2. For cards, they are region locked. Either you need to get an internal hardware mod that flips pins with a switch between PC engine and Turbografx or they do sell adapters. Game-tech.us sells a version on the mod. 3. CDs are not region locked, you can play any region without mod.
  11. Fun game. I haven't gotten very far yet, but looking forward to playing it more. That prototype PCB is awesome.
  12. I have been hearing a lot lately that Batman Returns is the better of the movies. I need to give it another chance as I probably have not seen it since it was released. For Batman, I really enjoy it. I do think a part of that is nostalgia though. I am between 7/10 and 8/10.
  13. Welcome aboard and welcome back again
  14. Why such a high amount? Is there something significant about this particular sealed Super Mario 64?
  15. In the head to head selections that @Sumezlaid out, both games are quality choices for the homebrew and for the licensed game. There are some homebrews in there that are still in development, but the ones that I have played both the homebrew and licensed game, in many of the cases, I'd rather play the homebrew. I am referring to the "total" experience. That is my opinion and you may disagree. However, even if you disagree and have played the homebrew shown, I would have a hard time seeing that the homebrew is way off in "total" experience comparatively. I can agree that I would like to see more homebrews at the caliber though. I do enjoy a wide range of homebrews though, from tech demos, minigames, competition gamers, and to the ones that sumez mentioned.
  16. Amazing collection and she seemed like a great person. Thanks for sharing.
  17. Well I regret this thread. Now please share level codes.
  18. R.I.P my eyeballs that we frantically looking for the mention who passed away to no avail. Much better with the new title
  19. There is a great range of genres and scope with homebrews nowadays. I agree with titles suggested already.
