  1. Journey to Silius was supposed to be a Terminator game. Does that count?
  2. Real talk: I’m wanting to get Pocky and Rocky 2 (SNES) back in my collection. My best friend and I played it together back in the day. All of a sudden it’s a $300-400 game.
  3. Unfortunately, yes it seems so. Even if you uncheck the “offers” box, eBay adds it after several days of it not selling. BS
  4. I traded for a used 3DS that had Recca on it. Score! Also, my wife found her love for SMW on this 3DS.
  5. Great story! 1-out of-10 people are legit
  6. One of the dozen or so GameCube games that I’d keep in my collection
  7. @RHCommon titles for an expensive title is an assumption. I’m totally willing to throw in desirable stuff for a game that is worth more. I’m also open to trade in someone’s favor. That is no problem.
  8. I get this. I really do. It’s the whole paying more that $100 for a game that trips me up. In reality, I would be playing with “house money” but it still feels very uncomfortable.
  9. There is a game that I used to have. Now, when I’m interested in getting it back in my collection, it has risen to a price in the hundreds. I’ve never bought a game outright for more than $100. It’s a mental block or something. I’m not a guy that’s super old school and remembers buying sealed games in the 2000’s for $10. However, I built most of my collection on shrewd buys and trades. Does anyone trade anymore? Is there any chance I could trade $300-400 worth of games for a SNES game that I used to have?
  10. I recently listed some stuff after not doing so for quite some time. Printing a label to ship is easier than ever, but the listing process... yikes. EBay adding the option for offers after listing happened to me also. Listed it BIN with the offers box unchecked. After like two weeks going unsold I got a message about an offer. EBay enabled the option without my choosing it. No bueno.
  11. Sands of Time is great. All three got released as remastered versions on a PS3 compilation also.
  12. How about “Get Out”? Excellent modern suspense/horror. Added appeal for promoting discussion of current social issues.
  13. N2O is a personal favorite that hasn’t been discovered as a “gem” yet. I really like like it.
  14. With the exception of the antenna on the TV, this absolutely spot on for my childhood. Well done!
  15. Finally got my order for Streets of Rage 4 on Switch today! Had been stuck in the mail for some reason. Worth the wait! And now that I’ve just seen the shirt-of-the-month for July, I’ll be giving LRG more money.
  16. I’m significantly older than my wife, but she grew up with a “Boomer“ parent and we understand the same references. Who cares what your age is. It’s about what you like and love. Screw off to those who have an agism problem. People are people.
  17. Tulpa gets it. Don’t think too hard
  18. Yep. https://youtu.be/uelHwf8o7_U
  19. Got to see this in the theater. Best action movie I’ve seen in a long time. Also, this movie is what living in a world with giant TVs and ultra high resolution at home is all about.
  20. Traded a handful of easily sellable vintage games for a 20” PVM a few years back. They needed funds and I had been looking for a gaming monitor. It was win-win.
  21. Final Fantasy II Didn’t own it but rented it with the hope that nobody would erase the save. And we beat it!!
  22. What game are you waiting to buy when the world is less crazy.
  23. I don’t know what RetroVision is, but Super Game Boy 2 with the Commander controller is where it’s at for GB on the SNES
  24. CasualCart, I was expecting another badass illustration. This is an interesting perspective! I’m with you, but with the qualifier that beyond the timeline we must account for the fact that the NES was first and a cultural icon. There is something extra about things that are the first.
