    I beat the standard mode of Astalon Tears of the Earth. I really enjoyed it and so will anybody who enjoyed 2D metroidvania games.

    I don't think anybody mentioned Metal Saga for PS2 yet. I really enjoyed it!

    You make some valid points, but you must admit the multiple level exits, Star World, and new enemies paired with better graphics make a strong argument. I remember seeing it the first time as was wowed by the new technology compared to, in my mind, the archaic NES.

    Try it out! There are so very few games like it, outside of the series. I enjoyed trying to find all of the items and discovering each wreck.

    I can't recall if I've played the GBC version, but I sank too many hours in the PSX version. Enjoy the better hardware capabilities and screen size. So many different eggs to find and raise and different mates to woo and home upgrades. Way ahead of its time in that regard. I should make another run now that I think of it.

    Overrated because of Bradley Nowell's death. Simple songs that are overall lacking. 3/10.

    I love this game. Capcom on the NES really wasn't fucking around. I love the secret items and the music and such. For a challenge, try the 0$ ending. 9/10.

    I'm just impressed you sold Guitar Hero III and guitar for $20. I think I had like five guitars at one point and I literally could not give them away so I donated them to the Good Will.
