  1. Uh oh. Mandela effect. My universe done got blown up
  2. I hate to break this to you, but as you may already know, Nintendo America doesn’t develop, they just localize and do marketing. The games are made in Japan and in Japan there is indeed a game called Super Mario RPG2 that was renamed Paper Mario in America. Japan calls the shots. Another clue is that Mario and Peach character designs in this remake are in the “cutesy form” which is basically a 3D form of the 2D Paper Mario character designs… so one can assume that they chose the character design choice for this remake with Paper Mario in mind
  3. The day they announce new console, Switch console sales will drop off a cliff. So they are gonna keep milking the cow until it’s dry
  4. I don’t know.. but I would assume you could delete all game data associated with a game. Then when you play it again, it would be as if it were the first time you ever played it
  5. I beat the game like last week. Only did like less than 20 shrines. I used the duplication glitch to make lots of hearty large truffles and when you cook 5 together you get full life plus 20 yellow hearts. Also duplicated a bunch of diamonds to sell and bought all the arrows in town whenever I went to town. I duped large zonai charges so I could max out the gumball machines and large zonaite so I could buy large crystallized zonai charges. I know I’m a cheater. But at least I’m honest. Even cheating, this game was pretty hard and Ganondorf was especially hard
  6. Oh yea one interesting thing there is ebay. Lots of people use eBay with domestic delivery only
  7. I don’t remember ever seeing much legit console stuff in the Philippines. Mostly Chinese bootleg Famiclone, GB/GBA and PS1/PS2 stuff. Wonderswan was the only legit thing I ever remember seeing at retail years ago. it’s a very poor country, so like 95% of the population can’t afford legit games
  8. I am so used to going to sheikah towers, flying into the sky, building a platform with 3 fans and gliding to any destination I want to go to. I will not be able to go back to walking on the ground or climbing mountains in Breath of the Wild
  9. Is it still worth it to play these games on GBC since they were remade on DS?
  10. Im with you. Someone should also laminate the US Constitution so it doesn’t get messed up
  11. Just rip off the old label and print a new one on a glossy label
  12. I believe there was a big breakthrough development in understanding Saturn hardware/emulation a few years ago. Don’t know that people have actually pursued that path, but I think the door is now open for developers
  13. Alcohol is a problem because it cost a dollar a bottle, and Nintendo has an official cleaning kit they are trying to sell for $20
  14. I read that Takahashi Meijin 4 was the last Famicom game.. but that’s not NES tho
  15. There is so much that went into this game and it really shows. In my opinion it’s worth like $200. Honestly after playing this, there’s really no point in ever going back to play Breath of the Wild.
  16. Neat. Are the orange carts old? I think they still make those orange ones today. My brother picks them up on Aliexpress sometimes Specifically talking about the one in the style of Kaiser Bubble Bobble
  17. This is the first time I ever bought a warranty. I figured since it’s $70 why not
  18. I found this on the ground outside. Dont know if the codes still work. Try it if you want
  19. I welcome DS, 3DS and Switch counterfeits. Since these games have flash memory, they will fail eventually. I have a good few DS and 3DS games that look fine on the outside but they don’t work. Now I’ve seen people repair some DS/3DS carts by cutting them open and reflowing the solder on the chip. So can’t speak to whether they need to be resoldered or if they are truly dead. But even a resoldering repair means you have to cut the plastic cart shell in half and glue it back together. If newer gen cartridge games on flash chips are truly dying from bit rot, then that kinda takes all the fun out of collecting them. And I can’t defend the rules of the hobby for a console generation that has such a serious problem
