Guys, there's 4 sealed copies of Myriad 6-in-1 that have been graded, but only this one single copy of Al Unser Jr. Turbo Racing. I think we all should be frantically scooping up Al Unser Jr Turbo Racing now because of the rarity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did anyone notice Garry Kitchen's Battletank title missing from the pop report?

I didn't notice that, but I didn't see any population 0's, so I was thinking that the population 0 ones probably just weren't listed. So there likely hasn't been a sealed copy of that pretty-common-game that have been sent in yet to be graded.

I mean, Terminator is a moderately successful movie franchise. The games, so far as I remember, were garbage, and they're not at all significant in the larger context of "the Terminator franchise". Nobody's making new Terminator movies or TV shows or whatever based on content from the ancient very meh video games.

And it's not like the franchise itself is going from strength to strength; just about everything associated with it since the second movie (in 1991!) has been, at best, okay. It's nowhere near the status it had right after T2 came out.

I think NES Terminator 2 was a great game. It was done very well and it's an interesting play. Haven't played any others though.

Good luck finding an affordable copy unless your wealthy than nvm. First prints are both expensive and hard to find because there are a lot of reseals that look genuine. But if you're a fan of Bethesda and their franchises, its a must have for your collection. Oblivion first print are the T rating ESRB and Skyrim first print is the art cover w/o the 10/10 award.

He’s playing them haha, so they are opened.

But I actually do have both of those. I started looking in 2019. I also have an Oblivion with an M sticker, similar to an AO GTA. Total I probably paid about $150, nobody really noticed their rarity back then. Oblivions are really hard to get in good condition in particular. First print Skyrims are popping up on Ebay now because people have realized their value, but the natural flow of them for two years was shockingly low. These will dry out sooner than later.

This entire video game boom just seems like a bunch of 40 to 70 year old sweats with a buncha money that have ran out of comics and coins to fetishize and have switched to games.  This pop report should only help their efforts of speculation, FOMO, and profit.

Once the video game river is dry, it'll be VHS, then DVDs.  "I hAvE tHe OnLy 9.8 A++ Toy Story 2"

You literally just explained almost any collectible market, the fact that they are one of the only collectibles with such a clear utility (gaming), leads to a lot of the back and forth IMO

I ignored 1 person on the site. So far.

In my comment, there’s a delineation between different types of people in this market…

But I’ll put it this way. If I had the ability to unseal every video game out there, I would do it immediately. I’d be stealth like Tom Clancy, COD Warzone dead silence, Halo cloak, a master thief, all in one. Just cracking VGA and Wata cases as sweat poured off my brow. I’d be ripping cellophane and plastic like piranhas eat. I’d need a respirator just to make sure I didn’t inhale any bits of seals as they gently floated back to the ground.

The only reason seals matter in this hobby is because THESE GAMES ARE SO MASSED PRODUCED THAT THE CROSS MATCHING OF COMPONENTS MAKES GRADING CIB A COMPARATIVE NIGHTMARE. That’s it. Cards, coins, comics are all 1 component products that do not come in a protective layer. The actual item you’d play, a CIB game, has a minimum of 3, adding a huge variance to a grade. The seal that by definition is required for the sealed games market, adds absolutely 0 to the game itself, the box art, the manual, or gameplay.

If someone wants to argue that CIB would just skyrocket in place of sealed, then I’ll relent. Until CIB massed produced games are hitting $100K+, I’ll continue to poke fun at people focused on cellophane and plastic.
