Pendragonx 114 Member ·
I'd prefer if we at least have the option to display signatures if each user sees fit to do so
B.A. 1,110 Member ·
I'm pro signature dispite never using one myself. What are thoughts of text only signatures? No pictures
jonebone 1,254 Member ·
I vote for signatures but keeping them extremely small, maybe 3 to 4 lines max. Am fine with or without pictures.
Nightowljrm 72 Member ·
I'd prefer to see some signatures, with some rules on keeping them fairly uniform, similar to the old NA signature rules.
Lincoln 230 Member ·
i'd like to have at least text sigs so i can link to fs threads or whatever. most of the image sigs from the old site were in violation of guidelines there but nobody enforced them. so i'd be down for images too but the rules need to be enforced. Gloves 10,068 Administrator ·
The overwhelming majority seems to want signatures, so while I was testing the waters of not having them, I am also a people pleaser and a yes man. Approved, I'll turn them on.
Gloves 10,068 Administrator ·
Added. You can now go to Account Settings and make a Signature. You can also set whether you want to see signatures or not: We'll have to come up with some rules, but please for now just be reasonable with it.

JamesRobot 5,007 Events Team ·
Any way to get html buttons to work in my sig? I tried to insert code but it just ends up like this.

The language selector controls syntax highlighting (note that there is a no syntax highlight option). We don't allow HTML in posts and that includes signatures. It's too easy to much up the site if enabled (as I've shown on NA previously).
0xDEAFC0DE 1,270 Member ·
Weirdly I can copy and paste buttons and they show up properly in the editor view, but not in the preview view. Let's see what happens when I try to post them. POWER .RESET Edit: Didn't work. I didn't think it would, but worth a try. 0xDEAFC0DE 1,270 Member ·
Edit: And pressing the fake button in the editor view posts your post which is how this double post came to be. Edited October 23, 2019 by 0xDEAFC0DE

I know it's not as cool as HTML, but I could make it a GIF for you sometime if you like, then it'd be easy to put in your Sig. Vaosu 104 Member ·
The way the forum is coded makes it so they are blocked on mobile devices. As far as I know there's no toggle for users to turn on or off signatures on mobile.
Gloves 10,068 Administrator ·
Frankly I'd rather not show em on mobile. Bit of clutter on devices with not a lot of space.
