What the fuck guys. Seriously. How and why and where the FUCK do all the lids for tupperware boxes go?!

You got like, say, 10 tupperware boxes in a kitchen cupboard, and you got 10 lids in there. Sounds perfect right? WRONG! 😡

You grab a couple boxes and you grab a couple lids, one of em fits and the other is the wrong size and you're like, ok... So you get another lid out, and another, and another, and NONE of them are the right size for the second box!

So, you're thinking to yourself, fine, I'll grab a lid and try match it up with one of the boxs... You just made the dumbest fucking assumption of your life, you can't fit that fucking lid on ANYTHING!

By the end of mixing and matching lids, out of ten boxes and ten lids, you'll have maybe 2 boxes that are too small for anything with perfectly matching lids, you'll have one GIANT one you can never fit in the freezer with a lid, and then you'll have MAYBE one or two that are the right size with matching lids and then a whole PILE of fucking lids that don't match shit and boxes that you can't find lids for!!! 🤯

At a certain point, you just give up and chuck ALL the fucking tubs away, and get a whole new perfect set with matching lids and everything... And then a week later you go to use one, and you CAN'T FIND A FUCKING LID TO FIT!!!!!!! 🤬🤬🤬

Stop buying knock-off brand "Tupperwear" brand and buy from a good brand like Pyrex.  OR you can buy the container that has the lids built into them!

If you are going to freeze shit then Pyrex is the way to go.  they are color coded for ease of use too!

I disagree with @FireHazard51 (sorry man) and you need to double-down in the direction of the cheapest options.  We started doing this and even though our "tupperware" cabinet looks insane, it works.

Basically, anything we buy that comes in a potentially reusable container, we keep.  This is mostly either lunch meats or Chinese food in plastic containers.

You'd think we'd be over-run with 50 different types of containers, but since we tend to mostly buy the same brands, it's not that bad.  Plus, this stuff was manufactured for companies that value keeping space small so all of the lids of the same type, as well of the bowls, stack nicely.

Currently, we do have about 20 different tupperware shaped bowls, but since we started keeping the reusable containers, probably 50% of them are all of the same 3 types, and those 3 types are what we use to store left overs.

As a side benefit, it's both cheap and better for the environment and when one does eventually break or crack after 10-20 uses, no harm in tossing it--you've already extended the life of something destined to the trash, so that's a good thing.

Yeah, this sucks, but if you can stack and sort things properly and reuse what you get from restaurants and the grocery store, it can make it easier.

Literally never had this problem lol. Do you have like 1 of every kind of Tupperware or something?

Sets come with a bunch of assorted sizes, so you can store your long flat block of cheese, big onion, small container of paste, leftover spaghetti, etc, without wasting a bunch of space for the small items.
