Let me be clear that if we are talking about a true indie developer without the proper means to develop the game, and the game looks like something I would be interested in, I might be willing to invest the money into the crowdfunding with the risk that I will get nothing back. I just see no point in doing it with a well established developer. As already mentioned, I look forward to buying and playing this game when it's available. It was the only game from my backlog that I finished last year, but I failed to add it to my list in the backlog thread, so that was dumb of me. It looks like their kickstarter just got funded and the game is now in production mode. Looks like a zelda-esque style game which heavily borrows some artistic styles from shovel knight. It looks pretty interesting to me.
