  1. Perhaps I should have looked harder. At first glance the plastic just looked too clean and when I zoomed in thats all I concentrated on.
  2. I looked at this too quick and thought it said you were getting repros of Bitcoins.
  3. I could be speaking out of turn here, but the plastic looks very 'clean' to me. I would imagine it would have some scuffs, or something else on it.
  4. Reminds me of something getting their parents to drop a grand on a Stadium Events when they were only 12 years old.
  5. Hahah I usually feel this way about Gene Simmons/Kiss. Do I blame Gene for exploiting is fans or the fans that are dumb enough to buy every piece of merch?
  6. Also to be clear, I worked at a pawn show for a few years where people were willing to sell us their stuff and we would just sell it after the 30 day legal hold. I was under the impression this kid was buying stuff already scarce, prohibiting someone else from getting it at that fair value. IE buying all the amibos at walmart, then selling them off for double. Id like to know at 16 how he got the capital to even start this. I have a feeling mom and dad might have helped out. But I can't read the Wall Street Journal article if it went into more detail.
  7. Thats what I meant. I should have added "Unless its only for necessity items that its illegal".
  8. https://www.yahoo.com/news/16-old-entrepreneur-reportedly-brought-101413442.html I thought doing stuff like this was illegal during the pandemic, unless its only necessity items.
  9. Lucretia, one of Marty Friedmans finest guitar solos. That album has the coolest, most unique and exciting solos on any rock/metal album ever. Marty is one of my favorite guitarist ever and unfortunately one of 2 that are still alive/playing
  10. Hmmm, hard to say. Ill pick one from 3 of my favorite artists.
  11. I do too. Ive beaten it numerous times.
  12. It is. It was good for someone else to dig thru all the tunes and find all the similarities and patterns within the pieces. The Castlevania one was good too, but I would be nit-picky about how he named certain things. Maybe just to make it simpler for the casual to understand.
  13. I think one sold for 3.5k recently. From the same person selling basketball cards and Time Lord for $45. https://www.ebay.com/itm/124732963257?epid=5743&hash=item1d0aa9f9b9:g:Dv8AAOSwoWdgnIKE
  14. I actually forgot about this. He did a really good job with Mega Man 2, which to me points out how over rated it is :P.
  15. I would certainly like to see someone take the time to dig in deeper with a harmonic analysis of some of that stuff because a lot of VG music is just incredible. I wish I could but I already have my own insane project im working on! It also would be really interesting to put up a poll of a lot of music and have people rate music from a lot of popular titles/popular tracks/random tunes (1 - 5, strong dislike to strong like), and then afterwards see what all the ones that people like have in common harmonically.
  16. I think a lot of people have a huge love for music thats generally i-bVI-VII, aka the Iron Maiden progression. Its all over Castlevania and Mega Man. I think they recognize it from music they like but are not aware of the similar harmony and I think that has a lot of weight on what people say should be on a list. Its even in that Batman Labratory Ruins track haha. Its touched upon SLIGHTLY in The Castle Dragon End Credits, but not enough for it to be a direct copy. It does have the popular parallel minor thing bVI - bVII - I, aka the Super Mario Bros level end fanfare. Dragon Warriors is really cool! I own the game but I never play RPGs so I thats why I never heard it haha.
  17. I have some PAL NES/Gameboy games too that I love (Like Mr. Gimmick, my 2nd fav NES game. How many US collectors have Gimmick/Trip World Hammerin Harry for NES and GB AND Beethoven!). The issue is, he's saying PAL collectors will collect everything thats PAL, so that must apply to NTSC as per his rules for collecting. Where as far as I know in my circle, people going for full sets here (NTSC) are only interested in games that were officially released in their own country. That means if you're going for a full set NTSC, you need to get all the Brazilian Playtronic games too? Or also a full set famicom?
  18. But thats just you. You're putting PAL collecting sensibilities on NTSC, who already just buy what was available to them.
  19. Why would they want a game that wasn't released in their country? People collect by officially released games in their country, not by their analog tv parameters.
  20. It does have the NTSC-U seal, but guess it was just not slated for sale in the US but in other NTSC countries. Is this a late release as well? This game prob had the same kind of fate as other Nintendo late release or low selling games, being shipped to South America or over seas. For example Samsons/F2s being shipped to Latin America/Chile, the Mega Man 6 Brazil variant, Spuds Adventure/Stop That Roach low selling gameboy games being found over in Europe etc.
