It appears to me that is was put out there by a group of really old timer NA guys. Most of which hadn't been around much if at all even in the final years of real NA. It looks to be averaging a post every couple months or so.

I don't think people should call the manual/instructions a "booklet"...but yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, my opinion, man.

Didn't Bud Light make a game console too? For some reason that has become a marketing gimic I guess?

Though I completely agree with your point, I have both worked on my car and put wiring in my house and from my knowledge no one has been hurt or died as a result.

Welcome! I was in volume 23 of Nintendo Power. So you know...we are both kind of a big deal.

My wife will follow up the statement "I'm so sick of this, I just want it to end!!" with "that vaccine was too rushed, we don't know all of the side effects, I'm not taking it". You can't have it both ways!

My Best Buy order finally arrived. It's in better shape, but still not as good as I had hoped. I plan on returning the copy I got from Amazon. If anyone doesn't mind some corner dings and wants it for cost let me know in the next couple days before I send it back.

Here is exactly how the promotion was shipped and packaged: Bubble mailer from Nintendo: The contents inside were the sealed DW game, the DW2 envelope that came with a map/monster/item chart for DW2 and a letter from Enix advertising DW2. The rest of the contents were in the clear bag with a letter from Nintendo. You can tell all of the extras were the same size. The first paragraph on the letter from Nintendo spells out the extras that were included: Most of the stuff came with the game, but not packaged inside of the actual box.

The explorers handbook isn't the manual. There is a separate standard sized manual

Those 3 DW items were from the Nintendo Power giveaway, they were not packaged inside of the game box. The Zelda guide was sold separately from the game.

I miss them. It's not about need, as obviously there are plenty of sources if you get stuck. I just like having them to collect, a lot of them have cool art and are just fun to flip through.

This came out in like 2007 or 2008, so I'm thinking much of the messaging had to do with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. It's really interesting how much of the video and lyrics fit today though. The business guy becomes president, the line about vaccines being politicized, the demonstrations and protests.

When people judge other people without having a clue what is going on in their lives, yeah, I call that an asshole move.

When the school year started this year my kids were doing hybrid, they went in 2 days a week the classes were split in half so there were only about a dozen kids in a class, they ate their lunch in class, they wore masks all day. It was far from ideal, but it was better than nothing. Now they are 100% distant learning and it sucks. So yes, I think we do agree. I take exception to the calling of parents assholes when they are upset that something a hell of a lot more important (school) isn't allowed but all of these other "essential" activities are.

I don't know what grocery store clerks, garbage men or hospital staff have to go through either. Those people choose those jobs and they are still doing them in person. I think kids in school is more important than Gamestop being open, but evidently the experts disagree.

I'm saying you have no place to call parents assholes when you have no idea what families are going through. Yes, I do think MY kids should be in school, and I don't give a shit what the childless peanut gallery has to say about it.
