I have two: one that I'm using, and another that is still sealed.

Not having DVD or CD playback didn't bother me, as I already had a DVD Player (and nowadays, a Blu-Ray Player). In addition, nearly everyone I knew in 2003/2004 had a DVD Player anyway even if they had a PS2. Even I, an owner of both a PS1 and PS2, didn't and still don't care much about the option to play CDs or the PS2's DVD capability. I bought them to play games, and that's what I did then and do now when turning one of them on. After all, the point of buying a game system is to play games. So naturally, I was and still am fine with the GameCube just being a game system (especially since it has plenty of games I like). Offline gaming was fine by me as well. I had friends then who played Melee, Double Dash!!, and Sonic Heroes (among others) with me, and I still have friends now that play Melee with me occasionally.

I have to mention that it is really sad that many classic YouTube users such as ericmansuper, Blaziken257, Tailz64, yearofthe, PlayitBogart, and undercoverfilmer00v (now known as No1Run) barely get any viewers these days and upload less frequently, or have quit altogether. It's unfortunate that a lot of people these days seem to think only Celebrities are worth their time. YouTube was so much better in its early years than it is now.

I regret selling these: Took those pictures in 2009. I also had a Top Loader NES so that I could play Ufouria.

It looks boring, and has that stupid IGN quote. The Japanese and PAL covers are much better.

A very brief history of YouTube: 2006: YouTube gets noticed and is a fun place for everyone. People enjoy watching basically any retro gaming video, watch them from start to finish, and post real comments 2020: YouTube resembles Facebook. Many users are picky about nearly everything from the type of video to a video's display, have shorter attention spans, and post spam comments...or nothing at all

So would I. I was just saying, it was eventually released. Just not on N64. I wonder if there's an N64 Prototype of the GameCube version of Yoshi's Cookie.

Very interesting. The GameCube version, included in Nintendo Puzzle Collection, is nearly identical to this.

I prefer playing it on GameCube. The Wavebird is the best.

Jersey Devil, Croc, Soul Blade, Tomba, and Rage Racer. These aren't really underrated, but people don't seem to talk about them much anymore. And they are good, even though they have flaws.

There was a lot of talk about it on Capcom's Message Boards in 2008 (and later). As far as I know, it wasn't revealed what it was and some say there wasn't one at all. But who knows.

I was playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe online a lot in May as well as last month. Apparently, after I finished in 1st or 2nd many times, several Mario Kart 8 players in the U.S. and Canada started recognizing/remembering the MegaMan52 name. Nearly every time I play, people are constantly throwing Shells at me even if I'm in 10th place. Also, it's ridiculous that the game seems to refuse giving me Bullet Bills or other useful items until nearly everyone's finished the race. Meanwhile, the few players behind me (or even some of the player's ahead) get useful items more often. Ah well. It is still fun.

Uninvited, Monster in My Pocket, Rockin' Kats, Ghoul School, and Monster Party.

I believe all three games were included with physical copies, but only the first few levels could be played in each without downloading the update. I think this is the only physical game in my entire video game collection that doesn't include the full game.

I had similar issues with Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, when I got it last year for my Switch. First, before I could even start playing, I needed to download a system update. Once that was downloaded, I started the game and got to the title screen. A Privacy statement appears. Finally, I play through the first few levels of the first Spyro the Dragon and...the game says I need to download an update to play the full game. A 9 GB update...even though I purchased a physical copy. I like Spyro, but that update sure wasted a lot of space. Yes, I know video games are a lot more complex these days. But, dang. It'd be nice to just a put a game into the console, turn it on, and play it. This is one reason why I like retro video games and systems more than modern.
