  1. A disc was what first came to my mind but any physical outlet would do the trick. The issue is not to be dependable on a digital service that does and will be didcontinued.
  2. So 2 hacked consoles then: yours and the one where you can install your games onto? I guess that's good way altough would be better if it didn't need hacks.
  3. With digital stores having a limited lifespan or even the accounts people might have not being around some day in the future. Is there really no way to extract that code and then put it on a blu-ray or some external flash storage? That way everything will exist as physical too.
  4. Scooping up them uncles, convicts and paraplegics for a final decisive push
  5. Yeah and the key issue is always sourcing whether you earn 2$ or 10$ but since you got that covered it can work out.
  6. I think this might be a thing for you Americans, not so much for me here in Sweden. We don't have those garage sales over here. I know of 2 second hands but the stuff isn't a steal and with auction hosts taking a cut and buyers factoring in shipping costs on their end there's barely anything left. I'm not gonna stifle through old stuff to list, wait and ship in order to make 2$ if lucky.
  7. So you want items with Mario jumping holding the mushroom aswell and you're wondering why that one wasn't used more?
  8. Well you do have that very image with the rootfruit as an advertising display sign so there's that. Altough i don't know what you mean by "originated". How was it supposed to originate? It's just an artwork that was invented like any other.
  9. Love it. The digging, airfloating princess, digging up roots, throwing stuff, coins, doors, minigames... everything.
  10. For me it is because NTSC in particular has games running in it's correct speed as opposed to PAL being 13-17% slower. So even if the artwork would look the same and even if i won't play the game anyway, because it's sealed or whatever, i still don't want it. Because that copy is inferior regardless. Other reasons might be an excitement that simply expands because you have an underlaying appreciation of something. Then you see something that's in the same category but different, and you might like that style also or the novelty of owning something unusual.
  11. A lot of times it would counter-intuitive because of how fast it can go and the angles enemies come from but on some of the bosses you have to get behind a wall in the middle while dodging bullets i would get it's unavoidable there. Could a tool assist pull it off or is it really impossible?
  12. Well McDonalds ranges from all-out vegetables to all-out fried meat. But i assume you mean something in between, like any of the burgers. I'd say cigarettes are worse regardless. By comparing ingredient vs. cigarette or all of the vs. a pack. Altough I'm not a doctor or nutritionist but yeah, i'd be pretty confident that that is the case.
  13. Yeah i saw a sold GB console that i can't for the life of me find anymore. The interface has changed to the left (where there used to be categories and sub-categoroes) there isn't anymore. It's just a white space. In my watching list there's only pics of the auctions i can't even click on them and go to the auction unless i use another system, say a desktop PC. it all kinds of fucked up and it seems like they have this chronic urge to "improve" themselves but instead it just becomes shittier.
  14. It's not only what any individual would do but the market as a whole. If you have a game that maybe will come out as physical years later, maybe never, then that does harm physical games as a hobby. Many gamers will opt for physical over digital when given the opportunity but buying the game a 2nd time (or waiting multiple years for a potential first) actively decimates the potential pool of interested buyers.
  15. Yeah perhaps. Usually when people have a favorite i've noticed it tends to be 2.
  16. Is that an outlier opinion to enjoy MM6? I mean it's not like it's worlds apart from the other entries so chances are if you like one you'll like all too some degree no?
  17. They've also taken the DD3 artwork and slapped it right on DD2 for the GB lol it's like nobody was much in charge of this brand eveyone thew in whatever they felt like
  18. It's a great game but perhaps not a "pure" beat 'em up. More of a mixed bag of action & adventure.
  19. How come that games will only be released for Switch? I've seen it multiple times by now.
  20. Yeah you'd soon be forced to stack them on top of each other and then you have thr condition deteriorating as a trade off. The material also keeps being cardboard yet nobody seems to mind too much even though it can only ever be impractical.
  21. Can it be repaired though if it starts malfunctioning and you add new parts on the motherboard. Like a battery that has died on a GB game with save function.
