Yeah. I don't enjoy Super C as much as Contra so I don't feel as motivated to master it. BTW, I recommend ditching the Logitech for a Sony Dual Shock 4. I made the switch and I'll never go back to Logitech. The buttons on those things always fail on me after a few months.

I've said this before but I've no deathed Contra and I can barely even make it past stage 4 in Super C and I've really tried. This is why I can't believe when people say that Super C is easier than Contra.

I've never 100% completed any of them. I'd say that the first is easiest just playing through normally without going for 100% completion. I haven't played the extra stages in DKC2 such as Animal Antics but they are often cited as being among the hardest DKC levels.

The first DKC more me. I've beaten all three before, but the difficulty is cranked up on the sequels. I always go back to the first one.

I guess the real challenge beating NGIII without dying. When the likes of tables, you and skinny can't do that within a week it is a difficult challenge.

We played this in the tournament finals last year: Me, arn, tables, skinny, gutsman and bertsampson. It was a one life contest. Only one of us managed to beat it within the time period, and that was bert. That shows how hard the game is. I reached the first form of the final bosses without dying and then choked.

My next door neighbor friend had an Intellivision. I had an Atari 2600. We played a lot of Demon Attack, Frogger, BurgerTime and Night Stalker among others.

I use the 1up cards with rubbing alcohol to clean cart contacts. I've gotten all my carts to work after a few cleanings.

NES Tetris and Marble Madness for me. I'll never be great at Tetris but it is fun and addictive.

I almost mentioned the final level in Super Ghouls n Ghosts. The Robo Manus level is one of the easier ones, IMO. Especially if you can hold on to the stick which lets you headbutt the fans and gas blowers. And there's the safe spot for fighting Manus on the far left. It's probably harder when going for low score though.

I'm not a fan of KFC's regular chicken but I like the strips and the sandwiches. The Nashville Hot strips are excellent.

All of this hype over a fast food chicken sandwich is ridiculous to me. I'm in no hurry to either. Nor will I wait in a long line because of the stupid hype.

I was thinking the Terra Tubes would be up there if it didn't have the 1ups that you can keep grabbing after you die. But it is a brutal stage, yeah. The Revolution is another contender because it's right at the end of a very difficult game, goes on forever, and only has two checkpoints.

The later levels in QBert would also be up there, right?

Either 8-2 or 8-3 in Adventure Island. The game just gets ridiculously hard.

I enjoy the chat aspect of Twitch as well. It's not just about watching gameplay.

It depends on how they are used. Codes that modify games in ways that don't make them easier are not cheating. Some codes make games harder. But stuff like invincibility and infinite lives is cheating period.

Yes, I watch a lot of Twitch. I'm a big fan of Arcus. I also enjoy Nescard when he's playing something besides Dragon Warrior. A few of my other faves: Yelsraek - He's the Marble Madness world record holder. I I was there when he finally got 2:40. Mike Matei - He's like the real life AVGN. RetroGamingLiveTV - Various retro stuff. I'm a huge Tetris nerd and I watch a lot of the player streams such as Jonas Neubauer, Harry Hong, Joseph Saelee as well as CTWC streams. Toad22484 - Amusing speedrunner with a quirky sense of humor who plays a lot of retro. He once spent hours and hours grinding for a pink tail in Final Fantasy IV and then let out a huge scream when he finally got it. It was great. Jay_Cee - Another speedrunner who's got a nice sense of humor. He was constantly playing Super Castlevania IV but he's moved on to Super Ghouls n Ghosts. Check him out. The Mexican Runner was a favorite but he's abandoned Twitch for Facebook. I have zero interest in Facebook.

I'm not the best at 8-bit racing games. I doubt I'll make it past Excitebike.

I've been listening to a lot of Hendrix lately. Everybody talks about his guitar work and rightly so, but damn his singing is great on this one. So full of raw emotion.
