  1. Has anybody responded to this thread who has professional experience? Not trying to say people can’t have opinions, but would like to hear from somebody who knows what the heck is going on.
  2. so that list of "confirmed" means that I have opened a sealed copied of said game and i can 100% confirm that those games came with those specific contents. or they came with nothing. while i have zero doubt popful mail came with the card I personally have ever opened a sealed copy of popful mail. or nobody has ever stated in this thread that they remember opening a copy at some point and can clearly remember that the piece of paper is the ONLY item packed with the game. but if you opened a copy at some point and can confidently say that popful mail only came with that one paper item and nothing else i will move it to the confirmed list.
  3. Batman forever Am I in the minority believing this is a good game? Can be frustrating at times, can be cheap at times, and you best set aside about 90min to casual play through it.
  4. 100% a follower. Didn’t know what a left bro was until like last year and now I can’t stop calling everybody bro . I think it is easy to validate and justify what we like by following what the masses do.
  5. The patience needed for this is probably mind boggling! You are a dying breed, since the average human attention span now probably only a couple seconds. take on something with a little bit more meat: ps1 or ps2.
  6. I feel like this is something you could throw on eBay with a high BIN and some chump would buy them.
  7. i've been looking online for a winning condition for zoop. segaretro states both game play modes - continual and level - are endless. some other site said the game has 100 levels. but you only have one life. is this game beatable? based on what i've read i would say no. even if the credits roll after 100 levels, the 1 life given would still make it extremely difficult and essentially unbeatable unless a mad man with the patience of an 80s kid had hundreds of hours to give took the challenge. curious if anybody else has any opinions or insights.
  8. back the future part III not a terrible game, but god damn, it is hard. if there was no pause in the game i would never have beaten this; i was pause buffering the shit out of the game.
  9. The leakage of bids would definitely be some juicy content for sure! Hopefully it comes to light so Pat the NES Punk can do a podcast segment on it!
  10. I’m sure he is trolling at this point to give a rise out of people. And it appears to be working. With that said, all this may lead to nothing. Who here is able to confidently say what they did was actually illegal. Cuz the law goes WAY above my head.
  11. I heard from somewhere that because this stuff is all collectibles there aren’t any laws or anything that prevents people from being smelly turds. So while WATA/HA are a bunch of smelly turds, did they legally do anything wrong? Ethically and morally, without a doubt yes. now, I know nothing about the law, so all this stuff I said could be a bunch of horseshit.
  12. Before 2018 did you ever care about print runs or specially looked for first print games like Mario or Zelda? I know I didn’t, but shit, now that it’s fully engrained into the video game collecting culture I can’t help but to know what a first print Mario and a first print Zelda look like, I don’t even collect NES.
  13. i don't how any of this works and the potential consequences, but could that be a real outcome of this?
  14. i think this is funny... like, how scummy can this get? as you said, very disappointing. and i didn't realize the whole time line of events: kahn states game is worth 100k. game then "sells" for 100k. shortly after the "sale", kahn appears on pawn stars and estimates the game to be 10 times the original selling price. like, what?!?! but let's be real here: will anybody stop submitting games to WATA? i'm gonna say no.
  15. I get all my gaming news come the CUPodcast, so it would be interesting to see and hear what the defenders of WATA has to say about this. And weren’t all the “buyers” connected to WATA in some way.
  16. Joe Montana NFL football was released as a retail release and also a pack-in with the sega cd sports system; the sports system is a model 2. The retail release manual shows the start up with a model 1, as seen below. i am wondering if the pack-in has a different manual that shows the model 2 start up. i've bought 2 joe montana nfl NFR discs + manual on ebay. they both show the picture above, which makes me believe the manuals are identical for both release, but i am not yet satisfied with my search. Question: if anybody has joe montana NFR + manual can you kindly take a quick peak? if anybody can prove a manual exists that shows the model 2 start up i'll give you $100 dollars. that's a lie. but i will give your comment a reaction!
  17. Sonic CD reminds me of sweaty balls in that they both stink.
  18. 3 ninjas kick back solid game. absolutely solid. though, the sega cd version is actually much better secondary to the additional levels added.
  19. as a sega fan, sonic blows chunks. we should celebrate by playing one of the many better platformers seen on the genesis.
  20. I’m not specifically referring to eBay listings but just the general conversations of, “check out my uber rare little Samson I own!”
  21. So this legit has not been on eBay in 7 years? Is that info accurate? If so, crazy! Also, if true, how could somebody think it appropriate to use the term “rare” for both this and, let’s say, little Samson. They obviously are worlds apart in terms of availability.
  22. i didn't go through every item in the list, but maybe there aren't as many as i thought there were with that Sega PC Collection branding. makes me wonder if there is a definitive PC version of Sega game, but because it's the PC version nobody talks about it or even knows it exists
  23. i always see the Sega PC Collection games listed on eBay. not that i would ever do it, but i've always thought tracking all of them down would be fun, especially since they all appear to come in uniform, consistent packaging. i wonder how many are in that collection
  24. cool to see a collection that isn't ninendo related!
