AFA/VGA Population Reports Coming
final fight cd replied to Gulag Joe's topic in Sealed & Graded Collecting
You’ll can search by system, but overall I feel like the search functionality is shit. Plus, all the WATA lovers surely sent their VGAs to be regraded by WATA, so who knows what is accurate. How the heck is a disc based game qualified? -
AFA/VGA Population Reports Coming

it works for me. -
The whole kato kaelin situation is crazy. He befriends Nicole, moves in with her, and out of jealousy OJ befriends Kato and has him move out of Nicole’s house and in with him. Kato becomes buddy-buddy with a millionaire celebrity just because OJ doesn’t like his ex wife having a male friend. with that said, it appears Kato drastically changed his story from what he initially stated to when he gave his testimony.

the whole oj simpson trial really fascinates me. there are literally hours and hours and hours of the trial's testimonies on youtube. there is a multipart podcast covering the the whole story and related characters. i love reading about the theories. there are videos dissecting his reactions, responses, etc. it's a rabbit hole i've spent many hours down.

Game Debate #199: Castle of Illusion
final fight cd replied to Reed Rothchild's topic in The Gauntlet
How much bath salts did you take this AM to come to this conclusion? Better than Gunstar Heroes?!?! What?!? -
1.) do the opposite of what the average r/gamecollecting regular does.

There is only 1: emotion. When a potential buyer watches an item for a week, feelings begin to form. Maybe every couple hours or, at the very least, every day Buyer checks in on Game; makes sure Game is still there and it’s doing okay; makes sure Game isn’t getting too much attention. With each day, the relationship becomes stronger. unfortunately Game doesn’t give back the same love and affection to Buyer. But Buyer doesn’t care. Buyer likes this abuse. Buyer will do what it takes to own and hold game when all said and done. it would be interesting to see what impacts longer auctions have on ending prices compared to shorter auctions. I’m just being silly with what I said above, but I would speculate that longer auctions do help to emotionally invest buyers than shorter auctions.

Is it hard? How long does a single game take?

Beat every Sega Genesis/Mega Drive game - 234/757
final fight cd replied to Splain's topic in Site-run Events & Contests
I did like the fact you had to collect a number of items per level to move on. Made it feel like collecting the “coins” had purpose. i didn’t know it was in the MS. Will have to check out game play of it. -

Zool Bad game. Not no escape bad, but bad. It’s a platformer where your character is always in the center of the screen, so you never know what the heck is below you. -
The BEST "Shoot 'em ups" of ALL Time
final fight cd replied to avatar!'s topic in Guides, Analysis, and Reviews
I have not played either because both games intimidate me. But it sounds like beating them isn’t a thang? Just maxing the score is where shit gets real? -

I’ve heard that ikarugs takes like a lifetime to master and radiant silver gun is no slouch either. Out of curiosity, did you take the time to master and beat these? -

zero tolerance ya know, i find these primitive, shitty-ass FPS games to be charming. but the game is like 40 levels long so it kinda wore itself out. but i kinda dig it. -
WATA Finally Getting Sued?

Has anybody responded to this thread who has professional experience? Not trying to say people can’t have opinions, but would like to hear from somebody who knows what the heck is going on. -
Sega CD Collector's Guide version 4.0

so that list of "confirmed" means that I have opened a sealed copied of said game and i can 100% confirm that those games came with those specific contents. or they came with nothing. while i have zero doubt popful mail came with the card I personally have ever opened a sealed copy of popful mail. or nobody has ever stated in this thread that they remember opening a copy at some point and can clearly remember that the piece of paper is the ONLY item packed with the game. but if you opened a copy at some point and can confidently say that popful mail only came with that one paper item and nothing else i will move it to the confirmed list. -

Batman forever Am I in the minority believing this is a good game? Can be frustrating at times, can be cheap at times, and you best set aside about 90min to casual play through it. -
Chasing Down New Rabbit Holes to Collect

100% a follower. Didn’t know what a left bro was until like last year and now I can’t stop calling everybody bro . I think it is easy to validate and justify what we like by following what the masses do. -
The patience needed for this is probably mind boggling! You are a dying breed, since the average human attention span now probably only a couple seconds. take on something with a little bit more meat: ps1 or ps2.
