Yeah, that’s fair enough but we’ve also watched a lot of bullshit get price pumped based on “print run”. Sure, theres an argument for wanting to own as close to the very first copy of SMB off the presses (like that time they found NES-001 on storage wars ) as you can get but it’s not like we are talking about something like GH copies that are not part of the original production. It’s also not the same as some comic book produced in the 30s where 16 copies were produced using horse hair and papyrus.

Oh no, I agree that I’d like to see the hammer hit the WATA guys. And I’m not saying that the fools necessarily should get “comeuppance” just that they were very obviously gambling in the same way Wall Street Bets guys are gambling and everyone should know that the most likely outcome of those endeavors is losing your money. They took a shot and lost and well that’s just too bad.

This game never made it past the lesser Mario kart impression for me.

My gut is to go with an RPG series ala Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, or Suikoden, but the right answer is actually probably something multiplayer. Especially as I’m aging, my patience for long play sessions is seriously diminished and I like something that I can fire up and be done with in like 20 minutes. Half hour tops.

I’m always down for some silly bullshit. I tread lightly with the techno stuff. Never got very deep into punk stuff beyond some melodic/pop stuff. Speaking of which, Hot Water Music is touring. Flew to Vegas years ago to see them with Rise Against and Gaslight Anthem and the Hard Rock started them as they opened doors. Hate that so much. Happened to me with Beyond the Embrace once too. Anyways, they’re touring with Tim Barry of Avail, who has been a big favorite of mine for a long time. Oh yeah, Laura Jane Grace is touring too. I’d like to see that but damn it I’m going to want to see Pints of Guiness. Fuck im drinking.
