  1. A Super Mario Bros NES Wata 9.0 B sold in auction today for $33,877 plus shipping. On Golden Auctions, there is a similar later production Wata 9.2 A+ going more than double the price. Its not that much of a grade difference between the two. Am I missing something?
  2. If anyone is interested, I came across 2 goodwill listings, Pokemon Blue GB and SNES MACS Multipurpose Arcade Combat Simulator. Last December on ebay, I remember a SNES MACS Basic Rifle Marksmanship G.C.S. (1994) loose cart sold for $2,170. I wonder if these are the same thing?
  3. Yeah here it does but I was thinking Europe and Asia sell different color, no? Another idea I had was custom border agents sprayed a chemical to see if there was a reaction. Like smugglers hiding drugs.
  4. Exactamundo. The seller has so many games, I don't understand why he/she is refusing to honor those sales. If I had a graded collection of that magnitude. I would honor each sale regardless if some fall short. There are plenty of reserves to take there place as it appears in the sellers background. Unless that's the illusion the seller wants to show? Last month, I discovered the sellers 2nd account. Nothing listed now but usually there are over 20 listings. Same photos from the first account.
  5. You must be referring to this guy. The seller has a great selection of games but is not the type of person who always honors a sale after it has ended. Here are a number of examples I tracked:
  6. CD Projekt releasing Cyberpunk 2077. This game needed many updates and patch fixes.
  7. My poor attempt at IKEA humor. Its late here. I agree. Every time I am at a estate sale, old furniture are the first to go. Yup, original box art. Found several on HA and ebay. I'm not sure if prototype box exists?
  8. Maybe its a old expired thermal gel/paste? Have you tried contacting the sellers? I forgot but was this the whale wars or the dolphin and the whale responsible for dropping atomic bombs episode? Both sellers from the same city?
  9. The watches and star wars action figure collection I can understand but this listing looks like something IKEA would sell. Many of the items sold on the website reminds me of a story I heard a while back of a banana duck taped to a wall sold for $120,000. Later the buyer ate the banana.
  10. On ebay, here's a Wata graded Friday the 13th nes listing with label error.
  11. Either these are the most precious PC out there or seller has a serious debt problem.
  12. One time a seller fudged up and sent me $125s worth of free loose carts. Part of me was like score but the other part of me, my conscious felt like I had to inform the seller and I did. The seller didn't ask what I had, just to keep it. Sadly, I forgot the sellers name but good service. Heres another story about when I used to sell gaminghead statues a long time ago. Customer purchased a skyrim standard edition and I grabbed the limited edition by mistake and shipped it to the buyer. The boxes look similar. Back than, i was selling the standard for $250 and limited for $750. Once I realized my mistake, I msg'd the buyer but no response. He got a great deal.. I learned my lesson to never put limited edition statues next to standard edition statues.
  13. Further down the article, it mentions someone else came across 500 qty of F-Zero ITA version. If anyone is interested, someone on ebay is selling a 24pk master carton.
  14. Are you sure? On Aug 3rd, I saw all but 3 with the orange stickers sold. There were a couple of listings with multiples being sold here: listing 1, listing 2, listing 3, listing 4. If I was going to invest in this video game, it would be from the case packs. The last sentence, I agree.
  15. I saw the recent offers. Someone must really want this game or is looking to do a little money laundering and hide there stash.
  16. Not to go off-topic but whos the babe? She looks like the famous russian tennis player but prettier.
  17. Think of your game as a crash test dummy. Your testing the case to see how well your game will survive. Dropping it from 3ft to your floor is a safer test to conduct than say running it over with your car. Haha lets be real, if the case can survive that. I'll trust it with my crème de la crème or cream of the crop games.
  18. I appreciate the email update. Wata should update there front page from 45 to 75 bd. When I submitted my games to them back in April, it was 35 bd. Now its sitting at 104 bd and in post grading since June 17th.
  19. I hope VGG has plans on improving its case design because the feet at the bottom and your SMB3 box "touching" the side of the slab is what prevented me from submitting anything. Idk if this was a design flaw or them rushing but shouldn't there be a space gap? I noticed the same thing with P1. Since you submitted a lowball condition game. Would you be willing to conduct a case test to see what happens when you "accidently" drop it from 3 ft to the floor (carpet, tile, wood or concrete)? Like a shipping boxes ECT, I want to know what kind of abuse this case can handle or was it only made to look pretty.
  20. Comical but I like it. After a customers order is completed, I wish Wata would send via email a link to complete a 3rd party short survey detailing the customers experience. Similar to Ebays feedback survey. From there at Wata's discretion, they can make the necessary improvements. Right now, the Wata 'shipment status' email they send out. If you read the 3rd paragraph, "If you are overly satisfied with your experience, we love seeing you share your satisfaction and newly certified games online! Click on any of the social media links at the bottom to visit our Wata Games social pages or visit the NintendoAge forums here to show off your Wata Games with other collectors." I feel there online presence is nonexistent and the NA link doesn't work. It comes up: Page Not Found The page you were looking for could not be found.
  21. Yes and this was from last year. This year, it appears to be happening more frequently. I'm glad I double check my games when they come back otherwise I wouldn't have noticed. I recommend everyone to do the same. *knock on wood* I hope none of my current orders have any issues.
  22. Thats exactly what happened. In my 2nd email, I used multiple examples. Each detailing how the seal rating NS on the front but none read "1st party H seam" on the back like mine did. A day later, Megan acknowledged the label was suspicious to her and needed "a couple of days" to reach out to the Grading and Labeling Dept Team Leaders. A couple of days turned into a month. If they were very busy than, I can imagine the waiting process taking longer now.
  23. This guy is legend. Offers great advice. Every time I see him in the morning, he so enthusiastic compared to other hosts. Everyone else is either grumpy or not in the mood.
  24. Bingo! The problem with Wata is the lack of time. Not to compare apples to oranges but if Wata wants to be the Amazon of grading. It will need to improve its efficiency. If not, its only going to get worse by end of Q4. I had a different issue last year. The label had a text error that needed to be fixed. Initial email with Wata's CS was denial but once I got them to recognize there mistake. They sent me a return label, 1 month later, the issue was resolved.
