  1. Was it premogames? This seller has a great selection of many ungraded/graded video games but is difficult to work with. Read the neg fdbk.
  2. Not to go off topic again but the king of infomercials goes to Billy Mays. Anyone remember him in Dead Celebrities episode in South Park?
  3. Agreed! There are other venues, though I'm unsure what ComicConnect and CertifiedLink charges. Does anyone know?
  4. In the article, it mentions Bronty as a Vancouver resident (assuming this is in Canada?)...The other day on ebay, I was going through my watchlist of old ended listings and I came across this ebay listing w/ username Bronty in it. I wonder, if these 2 pple are 1 in the same? Thought I mention it. Edit: Nvm, the location of the user is in Ontario. Different region. For the record, my geography is terrible .
  5. That guys infomercials are hilarious. "I sawed this boat in half!"
  6. My SpeedRun order has been in postgrading stage since 06.17.21 because of the case shortage. I emailed Wata and posted there response here at the top of page 12. If I don't see my order moving by the end of tomorrow. I'll send them another email and post there response here.
  7. You can 'drag file here to attach' or 'choose files' and add it from where ever folder your photo is in.
  8. There's this guy chrisz300zx, he had thousands of listings (mostly dropship) from every gaming merchandise online store you can think of. He dropped from radar like 3 months ago but has 3 active listings. Every time Limited Run Games released new games, he would have exact listings up and running almost immediately. Early on it was him, later others caught on and replicated what he did. They sell something they don't have or won't be released until 6 months later.
  9. That's a possibility. I used to view her "items for sale" page every week, using sort newly listed. She sells thousands (IIRC 4-7K range) of video games, mostly ungraded (New, CIB, loose) and some (100+) graded VGA/Wata. Every month until she disappeared, she would recycle her old listings but also list new ones I haven't seen before. Including 50+ ungraded sealed NES games from July/Aug. That's another possibility but I doubt she is a 1 person operation.
  10. This topic reminds me of Bioshock Infinite Wata 9.8 A+ listing that sold on HA several weeks ago. Not sure if bidders (not gamers) confused this game for the original or the sudden popularity from influencers? caused the price to skyrocket but the ungraded version is widely available on ebay less than $15s.
  11. powerupvideogames Anyone noticed what happened? She sell thousands of video games, including several hundred (maybe a thousand) factory sealed NES ungraded/graded. I was going through my watchlist, when I noticed all the listings have ended with a msg, "This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available." I would msg her but she has a tendency of not replying. I'm thinking she either sold her entire collection to a private buyer or her bad customer service skills finally caught up to her and got her suspended.
  12. I remember this guy from an episode of American Greed. The part about selling fake Elvis hair to his customers made me LOL. Clever but shady. All this talk about Stadium Events has me thinking...There are a finite # of gray and gold copies left in the world. If a natural disaster occurred and half of each colors were destroyed or lost forever. In theory, the remaining should go up in value?
  13. I thought ebay switched to Managed Payments or did that not happen to everyone yet??
  14. This maybe to early to tell but are CGC case design similar to Wata or VGA?
  15. Just noticed a new update on Wata's homepage. The 2nd photo is the one from May. The first photo maybe hard to read, I'll write the services below. WarpZone: 18 BD SpeedRun: 45 BD Turbo: 150 BD
  16. The buyer "Eric Naierman", is the dentist who was involved in another big NES bundle sale some years back, article. Last year, talking to an ebay seller about a game I was interested in. The seller explained some guy bought $45K of sealed SNES including the game I was interested in. I asked if it was on ebay or locally? He said, "a gentleman who he talk to on ebay, flew out from Florida to buy (paid in cash) and pick them up in a Ryder truck." Curious, I asked what kind of games? He said "200 copies each of Wario's Woods, Addams Family Values, Star Trek, Dino City, etc." I always wondered if it was the same dentist guy.
  17. I heard the same thing on the radio. The host tried to downplay it like he was afraid of HA fanboys or w/e but the other 2 co-hosts on 104.1 told him straight up "no, there money laundering."
  18. Not sure if this is new. Today, while browsing on ComicConnect. I noticed games graded less than a 6.5 have a red background color instead of blue. I checked Wata's website to see if they mentioned anything but I see nothing. What do you all think, nice small improvement or eh?
  19. Yes, if it were mini vent/factory holes on the cellophane, those are allowed. You could fetch a 9.8, as long as the imperfections are related to the seal grade and not the box grade. I would suggest reviewing The Wata Scale. Scroll down, click on each letter grade and read the notes. I use this a lot for my collection.
  20. I noticed someone on ebay sold a sealed "TM" version for $15K but it isn't h-seam. The back has a tear on the top beneath the cellophane.
  21. Most likely so, if he/she want to recover that investment. Probably in the wild somewhere or in a bank vault collecting dust. I thought the one that sold at HA on July 9th was a TM but was an R. I should've reviewed my spreadsheet on past sales before commenting but yeah millions would be correct.
  22. Probably Jeff Bezos or someone who doesn't need the extra cash. I'm surprised it sold that high and it no "TM" version.
