  1. @Gloves How do I combat someone using a different theme? I think it is because I cut and paste.
  2. The documentary is available to stream at Vimeo.com. For those of you who may not know about this project, it was Kickstarted four years ago. We covered the history behind the Nintendo cult classic, MOTHER, better known as EarthBound Beginnings. Learn how a prototype leaked out, was dumped online by teenage hackers in the late 90's, then released officially on the WiiU virtual console 25 years later as we talk to the employees that localized the game, the composer in Japan, and a lawyer to find out just how much trouble we're all in! This film is rated PG for Language and Brief Smoking Images. The legacy of the smoking crow lives on! Hope you guys all enjoy. Been a long time coming. Physical rewards to follow!
  3. This is where I am, too. And thanks for chiming in. Look, I want to believe, but I need hard proof. @Supergun, if you get me a front label pic with no Canadian code in the corner, I'll be extremely happy. Then I'll make you an offer. M.U.S.C.L.E. was confirmed to have been a mockup for a YouTube video, someone on NA messaged them, he didn't have a copy and needed it for the video. I also messaged them, just never got a response back. IIRC, they stated that thing became a headache because people kept bringing it up, so I figured he ignored me. Or spam.
  4. Let me see the front of the label so I know it doesn't have CAN in the bottom right hand corner.
  5. Lol, I cut and paste this from my NA thread and then cleaned it up. Formatting got lost, I believe that Stinger had a strikethrough before and should've been deleted. It does exist, I own one. Pics of this supposed Soccer (3 Screw), or I don't believe it. @Braveheart69, thoughts?

  7. I checked, at least a six month overlap according to the Wayback Machine. But they did buy out TW's digital assets for future releases.
  8. I think you just ignored 20 years of hacking, experimentation, and learning. Agree to disagree.
  9. Came after, he bought out Timewalk's inventory. Not physical, but the graphic designs and templates. RCG exists because TW didn't. Again, might be a slight overlap at the beginning, but they got big after TW went away and they, along with others, filled the hole. If TW had continued, they might've been competitors. So then, he wasn't doing what they were doing. Especially with SNES, which is what made TW well known, they were doing CIB releases for SNES RPGs with full size maps and manuals, sealed. You completely discount the fact that without the CIB repros, we wouldn't have CIB homebrews. It's a progression, things start with repros and moved to homebrews. I would assert you don't have one without the other. This is amusing to me, because I wasn't. For the Aftermarket Archive, I picked up repros that I considered important or limited, like RetroZone's SMB2j to complete his set or say the tins from way back in the day for Mario Adventure because they were among the first and different. But Timewalk wasn't limited, and it seemed as if they would continue to pump out Final Fantasy VI as long as someone ordered it. They were doing big things, but they were more expensive and to be honest, I couldn't afford them. Which sucks, because I paid a lot more not just getting them when I had the chance. Why do I think they're important? It was never officially confirmed, but I believe they received a Cease and Desist from Nintendo, making them, if that is correct and I am correct, the first know repro maker to be shut down by Nintendo. If Stadium Events is such a big deal to people because it's a "recalled" game, then to me the first company to get shuddered by NoA should be a big deal in the Aftermarket world. Even if that wasn't the case, I think the ripples of them closing went across the internet, whether it was people quitting that business model soon after or people coming in to fill the void they left. Uncle Tusk, NESCity, and the guy who made everything to order... I'm forgetting his name/website, but pretty sure they're still around, he did I think the Time Eon Man CIB and those early releases. This is all of the top of my head and could be incorrect, I did not go check any of my records. Feel free to tell me where I'm wrong.
  10. I disagree with your disagreement. Who else was doing said repros? Name names, give examples.
  11. We did a mockup for the documentary based on Phil's description. To be clear, I mean his description in our interview for the film. It's all in the documentary, where the name comes from, what the art was supposed to look like, the manual, the posters, name for the sequel, all of it.
  12. Back when I used to track prices for the Aftermarket Archive, my "algorithm" was if a title had a bunch of sales, average them out. If the item was rarer and sales were say once a year, I would either set that as the new price point or maybe average out the last two.
  13. Both are White/Oval seals, the one with a label is flathead screws and the one without a back label is security.
  14. Interesting. Both the Goonies I have sitting out have back labels. I have two Track and Field II's, I found both in the wild personally, one has a back label, the other does not.
  15. Right on. Nice to see Retrofest on here. For me, this is the event were I get to talk to the guys in the community because it's always no where near LPGE and I'm not stressing out. Previous years we'd done tournaments, always try to go out and support. This was the last event I attended before the quarantine happened. The GameCube kiosk belongs to Wes and I'm not sure he sold it. How do you not have a picture of the WoN sign Drew brought down from OKCity?!?! I ended up buying it back in June.
  16. Pic doesn't show up for me. @Gloves This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. 17. If you can find the right buyer, $100-250. Possibly higher? Refurbs? Factory errors? No definitive answer yet, just guesses from us collectors.
  18. I wrote the GameFAQ for the SimCity prototype like a year ago. Brad Smith just wrote four for homebrews I think this past year.
  19. Lol, I bought it for you and for some reason thought you picked it up before I could give it to you. Guys, DK Jr. has been sold, lol!
  20. I think I have some doubles from over the years that I'd love to trade for variants I don't have. Donkey Kong Jr. (3 Screw) TMNT (5 Screw) Track and Field II (5 Screw) Looking for the following. No joke, I think this is all I'm missing for an "complete" set: Adventures of Bayou Billy (5 Screw) Base Wars (5 Screw) Castlevania II (5 Screw) Castlevania III (5 Screw) Defender of the Crown (5 Screw) Jackal (5 Screw) Mission Impossible (5 Screw) Q*Bert (5 Screw) R.C. Pro Am (5 Screw) Rollergames (5 Screw) Skate or Die (5 Screw) Snake's Revenge (5 Screw) Stadium Events (5 Screw) LOL Tiny Toon Adventures (5 Screw) Top Gun 2: The Second Mission (5 Screw)
  21. I bought Dain's Dragon Warrior from them for my collection.
