  1. If I like a game, I will play it obsessively until it's beaten. Once it's beaten, though, I'm pretty much done with it. If there are some interesting side quests, I'll work on those, but I it's highly unlikely that I'll get a trophy higher than bronze or silver.
  2. Damn, I didn't now you had the record and ran at GDQ. Sorry the run didn't go well. I'm sure you weren't the first to have bad luck, though, and you won't be the last... I know that really isn't a consolation, but I've seen it happen so many times on there. Yeah, I know some other people who built a family and stopped the grind, no fault in that. I can definitely see wanting to get back to it sometimes, though. I'll never be a speedrunner, but I really respect an admire you guys for what you can do. Love watching. If you ever do run it again and get on Twitch, let us know, okay?
  3. Welcome! Wow I didn't know you had THAT much stuff... Can't wait to see the game room!
  4. Done any low life Zelda 2 runs lately?
  5. Holy carp! You responded to my introduction when I first joined NA! Thanks! Good to see you!
  6. I was done with the site itself a long time ago, so making a fresh start here is fine by me.
  7. Hahaha, I loved 7th Saga. Of course, that was when I was young and didn't mind the grind. I beat it with the robot and the alien/demon thing. The worst thing I remember from that game is the enemies casting vacuum on you. Horrible. Of course, Phantasy Star II is a grind fest. I played the PS2 remake a few years back and was getting sick of the high encounter rate.
  8. Yeah, it's a remaster of the first one, so I'd say it is pretty boring compared to the ones that followed. Its saving grace is the "Lonely Rolling Star" song.
  9. Glad to see Robotrek in your list, @Ausden! Awesome game that doesn't get enough love. I also think Paladin's Quest was pretty good, even if the artwork can be off-putting in the beginning. I'll just stick to my Top 5. There are too many I love. Final Fantasy IV Suikoden II Phantasy Star II Final Fantasy VI Dragon Warrior IV
  10. Love the idea for the future. In the meantime, I also like that you can copy and paste a google sheet in your post. Good to know!
  11. Welcome! You really need to bring Bea Arthur back
  12. Oh, good luck! That's my favorite NES Mario game. I don't actually remember going through the entire game. My brother and I either figured out the warps really quickly or got them from Nintendo Power. @NightowljrmThat's too bad about the crashes. It looks like a really fun game. It reminds me of the horrible game-ending crashes that the Secret of Mana remaster had. Only I had forgotten about the PSN saves right away... I haven't played too many games lately. Last game I beat was RDR1. I had to play it to see how the story from RDR2 panned out. I wasn't disappointed in it because it's a very old game, but of course it had only a fraction of the depth that RDR2 has (which is such an amazing game... breathtaking). I've been sitting on Bloodstained and really need to get on it!
  13. Thanks guys! This quoting function is a dream!
  14. I'll say. You too!! The nuttier, the better!
