  1. Okay. I can guarantee at least one Nintendo tape, not already crossed off the list, in the mystery box. It won’t be 539 tho if you’d rather trade with @fcgamer .
  2. Even if it’s Mario/Duck Hunt? lol. You got a want list I could take look at?
  3. I’ll trade you a video game “mystery box” for that. Need that bingo square myself.
  4. I’d like to get @ ping’d for General Events! Thanks!!
  5. Can I please get that T-shirt charm?
  6. How can I get my username and the subscriber tier in the same screen shot? Take a picture off another screen maybe? Never mind I gave up too quickly and figured it out lol
  7. Across the Pond: Casual Art: How about @Tabonga. His profile avatar is very distinctive and much easier to make than a ghost cat headed Link. Clean as a Whistle: Before: It has an ancient sticker from some rental store’s filing system right on the label. And some sticky tape residue that I had previously only simply peeled the tape away. After: All the tape residue is off the shell and the super brittle mess of a sticker is gone revealing a lovely Nintendo Entertainment System logo. Cleaning it didn’t leave a pristine label underneath but it’s better than it was. Also gave the contacts a good swabbing. Cross Your Heart: Stayed up past bedtime for this. Does it still count if I used a save state or two? Done Deal: Game Night: I was there, I played poorly and disconnected quite a bit. Glamor Shot: Good as New: Here’s my son’s Skyward Sword joycon he broke the rail off of when his switch fell off the bed. I surprised myself that I was able to get it back together And that it actually works. It’s been broken for many months and already replaced. Those ribbon cables are tiny so I added a pair a tweezers and a magnifying glass to my toolbox. Took me a bit to figure out there is a tiny latch to hold down the ribbon cables. Anyway, my son is glad to have his Zelda joycons back and VGS bingo finally motivated me to do it! Homegrown: Developed by Manganga Team. It has a VGS logo right on it! How Charming: I bought a shirt way back when they first went up, this morning I went to the charms page and asked for the T-shirt charm and Deadeye hooked it up for me. It Belongs in a Museum: I have a “Not For Resale” Legend of Zelda the Minish Cap. New and Improved: This is my region switch modded Saturn. Left two switches up for USA, right two switches up for Japanese games. Pixels > Polygons A chimera enemy from Dragon’s Dogma. Supportive: I’m in for Long Haul, that reminds me that October is renewal month lol Souvenir: This is my Koji Igarashi autograph. I’ve posted this on VGS before, I met him at the GameStop managers conference the year he was there promoting Order of Ecclesia. It’s my favorite because I love Castlevania and I got to met Iga! Tools of the Trade: Took some digging for me to find these guys, but here they are. Just your everyday security bit and tri-wings. Also my cool SNES controller “toolbox” where I keep them. I used some of these last year to install a replacement back on my son’s Switch. I’d have posted a pic of that but we upgraded to an Oled and I don’t have it anymore. What If: Made a new new title screen for Final Fantasy 2 by mashing up the title screens for Final Fight 2 and Fantasy Zone. I could only do so much on my phone. Sorry about the watermark I wasn’t gonna pay the $8 the “free” software wanted to remove it.
  8. Where the bingo cards? I got my folding chair!!
  9. Nice! I dunno how well I can do this go around. I just moved houses, all my gaming stuff is packed up, my pc is packed up, and I only have the worlds crappiest cellular internet service. But no excuses, let’s fill them squares!!
  10. I am so super far behind on my backlog this year. But I've been DIY (I suck at this btw) remodeling our new house and getting ready to move for the last few months. Aside from sneaking a few nights of Shredder's Revenge I've not had any game time at all. Now all my stuff is packed up and moved, but not hooked up anymore. The good news is I will have a game room again for the first time in over ten years. It was like an hours long job to dig something out of my storage closet if I wanted to play something not modern.
  11. My "Ultimate Fan Bundle" finally came today, weeks after everybody else got theirs. Oh well, that's LRG for you. After watching an unboxing on YouTube, I've decided just to keep them sealed up. The shadow box is the best part of these and you can see it just fine as is. I need to figure out something to do with the trading cards, maybe a frame where you can see them all.
  12. Got this today. Have to hook my SG up soon and give it a go. Super surprised at how quickly it came in.
  13. Very cool. Thanks for making the news notice at the top of the website, I would have totally missed this otherwise.
  14. The tweet says "+ major retailers" and they have an XBox version too. Maybe this will mean LRG is moving into a bigger distributor to the mass markets with this title.
  15. Finally got a second game off the list, Kirby's Adventure is done. You guys said this one was easy, but that last boss gave me a hard time. I've been working on Guardians of the Galaxy quite a bit lately too so hopefully I can wrap that one by the end of the month.
  16. I always wanted one of these rotatable monitors, and I got this one for free! You can see here that this portrait mode orientation is great for reading digital comics. Planning to fire up MAME soon and get some vertical shmup action going. Or as Joe from Game Sack would scream... "TATE MODE!!"
  17. A couple pages back @DorkOverlord posted he'd picked up Konami Wai Wai World, and that reminded me that I had been wanting to get it for the Castlevania stuff. Went on ebay and got these together, so here they are.
  18. Welcome back singular Sage!! Thanks @Gloves!
  19. I went to the local Five Below when those $5 Tri Force Heroes were posted about here on VGS. Sadly they had none, but I did get a $5 Yo-kai Watch that day though. I think I got some $5 3D blu-ray movies that day too.
  20. Been slacking on posing what's new, so here's some of it. Fire Emblem Warriors went to $20 preowned at GameStop and it was finally time to grab it. I have Injustice on PS3 already but I grabbed it on PS4 anyway for like $6. Why they always making Superman a bad guy? I'd never played Street Fighter V, it was like $8 so why not. And Mass Effect was on clearance at Wal-Mart for $15, so now to find 100 free hours to play it. My buddy @monkeybut625 gave me Guardians of the Galaxy for Christmas. Thanks man! It's on my 2022 Backlog and I'm going to start it as soon as I finish Ratchet and Clank (not on the backlog btw). Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 was $9 so I got both versions, luckily the DLC codes were still good in them. Put off getting this Zelda long enough and it was $20. Better start snagging those 3DS games on my wish list before they are all dried up. Pokemon X was $20 and Mario Maker 3DS was $12, maybe someday I can match them with a case. I don't mind though I want to play the built in levels on Mario Maker and my youngest son is Pokemon crazy so he will enjoy playing it. I got these sometime last year from customgamecases.com. Someone here was talking about them so I decided to try them out. I got one case each for all my loose Game Boy games and my one loose N64 game. I think they were like $4 each, they're good enough and makes the shelf look better than just loose carts.
  21. First game is down! I just finished Pitfall II: The Lost Caverns for the 2600. Played the rom with the NT Mini. I ran that crazy gauntlet of bats and birds at the end and got the girlfriend, mouse and monkey, on the way, but didn’t realize about the ring. So I did it a second time and got all of them, not all the gold bars though. I think what stumped me as a youngster was the bit with the ballon, that must have been in the manual and we didn’t have that.
  22. Yes. The dock charges and has hdmi out. It has its on firmware too that you update with a usb thumb drive. You can use Bluetooth controllers and a future firmware is supposed to let you use wired usb controllers with the dock.
  23. Got it!! All of my Gameboy and GBA are packed away in the depths of my closet at the moment and the only thing I could reach was Kirby’s Dream Land that I “recently” acquired. The screen is super sharp. After I feed the kids their dinner I should have some time to update the firmwares and try out the dock.
  24. Jicsan's 2022 VGS Backlog Challenge List 01. Super Mario Land (GB) 02. Star Fox 2 (SNES) 03. Kirby's Adventure (NES) 05/13/2022 04. Pitfall II (2600) 01/26/2022 05. Golden Axe Warrior (SMS) 06. Alisia Dragoon (GEN) 07. Luigi's Mansion 3 (SWI) 08. Neutopia (TG16) 09. Castlevania Mirror of Fate HD (PS3) 10. Kingdoms of Amalur Re-reckoning (PS4) 11. Guardians of the Galaxy (PS5) 12. New Super Mario Bros. 2 (3DS) 11/03/2022 Alright, I'm ready for 2022. Not too many overly long RPG's. Only 12 games, so that can be just one a month. And I did a one game per system kind of thing to spread it around. I got it this time!
