  1. This thread may or may not help. But Im always skeptical of insurance companies/policies that claim to cover a collection. ESPECIALLY something not specific to collectors insurance, like renters and home owners insurance
  2. I guess in the effort for LRG to improve shipping, they’ve up the price of shipping. For two standard games it has been $5.40 for as long as I can remember or at least a long while. Now it is $10.20 for two standard games. Just shy of double. Edit: It may be an error, I’ll have to put in a support ticket
  3. Going to try and get this thing out tomorrow. Order of travel Me (Origin) @The Count @Aguy @Fleck586 @TDIRunner @spacepup @B.A. @a3quit4s Me (End)
  4. I bounce between them almost one for one. I just finished Xenoblade Torna a few weeks ago and was playing Mario Golf 64 recently. Will probably bounce back to Xenoblade 3 after
  5. Ah, I was almost done with this one! I was in the middle of bowser too. Good job though he is a pain
  6. I strongly disagree. Many owners do just that, by driving another car. Driving is driving. Seems like a completely apt comparison.
  7. Nah, that’s where I deviate. If your just going to use a flashcart, then it’s pointless to keep the carts around. Its like the guys who have a nice classic car and leave it in the garage. That’s a really boring way to do it
  8. Since everyone seems to be busting my balls about it (not a big deal bust away.) I wasn’t planning on doing this to my personal collection. I am vary conscious of handling my N64 games for this exact reason. This was (what I thought was) a brilliant idea I had the other day “why hasn’t someone thought of this!!” kind of thing.
  9. That wouldn’t really protect it during handling/actually using the game. Which was my original thought.
  10. See the aging of the of the laminate is not something I thought about, and is well explained reason why not to do it.
  11. I understand people like things to be original, Im one of them. But I don’t see this as a major alteration. Everything exists as it was minus the ability to smear the ink on the label with your sweaty finger.

  13. Last time I’ll bump this in case there are any stragglers. The box will go out next saturday
  14. Im surprised to see how many people hate the idea. Since it’s not really causing anything negative. But it does prevent the inevitable wear on the label from fingers inserting games in and out.
  15. Had a thought about this today. N64 labels are non laminated, ie not protective layer between the ink of the label and the elements. What would be everyone’s opinions on using a clear laminate/sticker over top of the label as a permanent protection to original layers. Think the old “property of blockbuster”labels minus any branding.
  16. Bump, a little over a week left if anyone wants to jump in
  17. I put this stuff on my windows of the collection room last year. KESPEN Window Film One Way Reflective Daytime Privacy Heat Blocking Anti UV Mirror Window Tint for Home and Office, Tea-Silver, 35.4 Inch X 6.5 Feet https://a.co/d/fa6mQ6w It definitely darkens the room and helps with cooling. But can still see outside, but makes it look like your looking through sun glasses, as expected. Kinda hard to make any definitive statement on fading since that’s usually so gradual you don’t notice it until you have a non-faded item to compare. But assuming it’s claim of blocking 95% uv rays is semi-true, it would definitely help.
  18. Loved this game, as well as III and Vice City. I went back to play the trilogy on Switch recently and can’t believe how short all of them really are. As a kid I spent SO much time just dicking around and exploring, which I don’t really do on a subsequent play through. San Andreas was my favorite of the three, and even though I HATE rap and the whole surge of “gangster” culture back then. I particularly liked the portions of the game where you have to capture sections of gang territory and wished they had pushed that to more portions of the map instead of just the first city. That all being said, GTA is a series I will not play without cheat codes. Judge me all you want on that, don’t care. Im not going to be feeding and working out my character to not make them fat. F’that.
  19. Finally the one game everyone wants and is out of everyones price range on original hardware!!!!….
