  1. Very cool! You almost never see those x-eyes!
  2. I started in around mid to late 2006. I guess I collected a bit when I was a kid too, but I sold all my NES games when I wanted some new Gameboy color games as a kid.
  3. Yeah price is wayyy too high. I could see paying $800 for a decent dual monitor with some games. I had a single monitor a while back and I had picked it up for $300 if I remember correctly.
  4. Yeah as far as I know it just clipped together with the round tabs, is the game and Accessories inside sealed?
  5. I just noticed that the picture that the buyers sent you, this disc prong is completely different which means it is not the GameCube case. Why would it be on a different case.... clearly it’s a different disc. Just thought I would point that out maybe it will help your claim.
  6. Nice! I’ve seen a couple of these over the years on NA but haven’t seen one in a while. Last one I saw sold for around $600 but that was a while ago. No idea what it would be today but sealed games are all the rage so who knows!
  7. Yeah I’m not too conserved about mold. I live in Florida where the humidity is always high, and I’ve never had any issues. I’ve kept my games in box protectors for over 13 years and haven’t had any issues. I do not run a dehumidifier ether, just normal central AC.
  8. My Dino peak is just box and cartridge, I’ve never been able to track down a manual.
  9. We had this huge video rental store called Prime Time Video, and over the years I picked up all the Hannah Barbara games there on clearance when I had extra allowance money. I think it was around 1996, I remember specifically I got both of the Flintstones games in their front clearance bin. No idea what I had paid for them, but they were cart only I remember. More on that, I used to rent Wacky Races, Jetsons and the Flintstones games from Blockbuster originally, but never saw them for sale, and it must have been pure luck that I found them at the Prime time video store.
  10. So over the years I always had a goal to get a sealed NES collection of all the games I had when I was a kid. As the years went by I figured out this wasn’t feasible since I loved Hanna Barbara and owned most of the games on NES (which as you know are insane sealed.). So over time I decided I would pick up sealed when I found them cheap and just try to find nice CIB copies if not. I’m close to being finished now, if my memory serves me correctly. Down to just needing Ghoul School and Jaws. (Hit me up if you have a extra nice CIB copies). Some pics for your enjoyment. Feel free to post pics of games you owned as a kid too in this thread! As far as the sealed ones I was able to knock off the list, I have: Mario 2 (not pictured), Mario 3 (not pictured), The Addams Family, Caesar’s Palace, Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout and Star Tropics (opened but never played, close enough haha!)
  11. I picked this really cool blockbuster nes game and case from eBay recently.
  12. Penguin

    Sold!

Can this be used to dump prototypes?
  13. I think a lot of it just has to do with a lot of us are all grown up now and priorities are changing. I know I myself don’t collect as much anymore, saving up to buy a house and get married now. Also I think the collecting landscape has changed a lot. Hunting for games isn’t as fun or easy as it used to be. Most everything moved to Facebook groups, which I don’t really like the format to deal with buying things, and you’re lucky if you find anything for a good price on eBay these days. I’m gonna hold off for another 10 years when nobody cares about NES and Gameboy anymore and get things cheap. We have nothing but time in essence.
  14. Awesome! Keeping my eye on the Nintendo one. I have the press kit from that year that matches the binder.
  15. I have some of the earlier retrousb releases and most of the LEs for all of Sivak’s games when I did beta testing.
