  1. Best offers on an auction. Best offers on a BIN are available, though I'm noticing GVN and PC not properly returning some of those too.
  2. No. That's why GVN didn't go back as far as PC. Best you could do would be to go back to 60 / 90 days (whatever eBay keeps in completed) from the day you started the project. Not to mention, PC and GVN both didn't change as eBay changed. eBay rolled out their best offers on auctions within the last year or so, yet no one can see the data. If I list something at $9.99 auction with "best offer" and you buy it for $50, it doesn't show up in completed listings and it doesn't get caught by either site. Not to mention the countless side deals that happen on BIN / OBO that gets pulled. Either way, the pricing sites do the best they can but are just guides and nothing more.
  3. It would be, but the problem is that these sites (PC / GVN) benefit from their longevity. If you start now, you miss out on all of the prior data the other sites have. And it also strikes me as a monumental task, not easy to build eBay scraping API tools with flashy interfaces. Hogie poured in thousands upon thousands of hours into that site. I helped him with some of the manual overrides (reviewing the flagged listing each day), but even after a few weeks of that I told him I just didn't have the time.
  4. I still prefer GVN to PC, but always consult eBay completed if pricing a specific title. If you're doing it in bulk I'd still go GVN and save the hassle of manual eBay lookups.
  5. Well, we briefly mentioned it amongst the mods and I'm pretty sure we would do on here. And for obvious reasons, we aren't going to be affiliated with anything NA does, if that site even exists in two months. We don't want to get ahead of ourselves but yes, I would expect a formal announcement in November if we go through with it. Also, could possibly welcome volunteers to help coordinate.
  6. Saw an interesting article worth sharing: https://www.channel3000.com/news/national-news/vinyl-expected-to-outsell-cds-by-end-of-the-year/1134307215 Cliff Notes: Sales of new and new and used vinyl records have been increasing over the past decade, going up 55.8% from 2010 to 2011 and 131.8% from 2011 to 2012, CNBC said, according to eBay data. The network also said there was an 18.5% year-over-year increase in sales of new records from 2016 to 2017. Vinyl is making a comeback apparently, but when's the last time anyone has listened to a CD? It's been several years for me. It's all radio / streaming / SiriusXM in my car. This isn't that much of shocking news, but neat to see.
  7. Tons of stuff where I don't think the price is justified. Some examples like NES - Dragon Fighter, Zombie Nation and SNES - Hagane. If they come down I'll own them, if they don't I won't. They're all "tough", but not to the extent of their current pricing (IMO).
  8. Nice list. May want to caveat it as "Licensed Carts", because Myriad / Cheetahmen / Panesians would probably bump some of these guys off the top 10.
  9. We had the badges on NA but you dont need them to know you love a series. Maybe we can get something going eventually ( @Gloves ?) but in the meantime, post any series pics you want to share. I got my sealed Earthworm Jim back the other day and it prompted this pic. Big fan of these series, such fun platformers in the 16 bit generation.
  10. Got these two back from VGA the other day, pretty happy with them. Final Fight 3 is tied with the highest graded at 85+, and same for UMK3 which is tied at 90. UMK3 also completes my Gold SNES Mortal Kombat set so especially happy there!
  11. Figured we should have this thread for any of the graded game collectors out here. Feel free to post Wata, VGA, Sealed, CIB, Loose etc. If its graded this is the thread for you!
  12. Also happy it is here. Not a huge Switch collector but I do keep an eye on this thread and buy games that seem interesting.
  13. I don't have anything quite that epic but I'll keep it in mind next time I clean something up. I agree that GB restore is pretty amazing!
  14. I did my first convention this year at TMG. Maybe make a trip to MGC if I can justify the drive...
  15. Any title Mint sealed that hasnt yet appeared on Heritage. First to market is big bucks. Oh and WWF Wrestlemania. Ha.
  16. Hey there welcome back, the mods actually wondered what happened to you a couple years ago.
  17. Treat others like you want to be treated?
  18. There are a lot of "nice to haves" but at this point the focus is just on getting the site up I believe.
  19. Wow thanks for the reminder, totally would have forgotten that was you. You were Kraken for quite awhile.
  20. Don't sell yourself short, I'm sure you've beaten about a dozen other Switch games this month too!
  21. Welcome aboard! We both joined NA one day apart 11 years ago and both joined here the same day. It's like we're long long blood relatives!
  22. Streets of Rage 2 on the Genesis mini. Needed those save states!
  23. If I had to rank my top 5 favorite Zeldas it would probably be: 1) Zelda OOT 2) Breath of the Wild 3) Zelda Link Between Worlds (3DS) 4) Zelda LttP 5) Zelda NES
