  1. I get back doored all the time on Mercari. It's at the point where I buy something assuming I'm going to get cancelled on so when it does happen I just shrug it off. If the seller actually ships then it's a bonus. I adopted this attitude because it's not worth raging over and wasting your time when you could be doing something more useful instead.
  2. Wow that's a really weird hybrid. It has the same QC sticker and Phillips screws typically used on Samurai carts. The front label appears to be of good quality making me think it's legit but the code throws me off. Are the pins gold when holding them up to the light? Does it look like a legit board?
  3. Yes mine has flathead screws too. The only date codes I see are on the lockout chip with a code of 8724. The stamped code on the back label is '08'.
  4. I got it for cheap. Let's just say it cost barely a fingernail
  5. There is a small variation in text on the back of the box. Don't remember what it was though.
  6. I believe Shrek & Shrek 2 is the variant. There was never a combo cart for those 2 but they came as 2 separate carts.
  7. Got some uncommon stuff in the mail today!
  8. Does anyone know what a 3-screw Gyromite is worth these days? The US one, not CAN.
  9. @drxandy Is the picture output fine on the NES? Looks like it's missing the red component.
  10. Just got this. Interested to sell or trade. Daedalian Opus Sunsoft variant.
  11. Just got back from the flea market! I was surprised to find a boxed N64 game. Also got this a few days ago:
  12. Pink was the color of the day today! Got Barbie for peanuts.
  13. @TheBiRD These are all PAL by the way. Not sure how seals worked in those regions.
  14. But how does an upside down label count as a variant? Theoretically every single NES game could have an upside down label variant floating around.
  15. Any chance you're interested in a 220v Wii U AC adapter? Those came with PAL Wii U units.
  16. Just got a 3-screw Donkey Kong. Anyone know what it might be worth?
  17. Some cool stuff came in the past couple days! DS games are all sealed, Sagaia for Gameboy (CHN region), 3-screw Donkey Kong and a "broken" Pokewalker for cheap that just needed a new battery. This is literally my 3rd cheap Pokewalker that was sold as not working but just needed a new battery. Does anyone know what the 3-screw Donkey Kong might be worth? Also, the sealed Dragon Quest Monsters Joker is some kind of bundle with a screen wipe under the shrinkwrap. The game itself has a Y-fold seal under the cheap outer wrap. Does anymore have more info on the history behind this bundle? Maybe @MiamiSlice?
  18. Is it possible to get the GameShark SP (MadCatz version) working on 64-bit Windows 7? I think I tried with compatibility mode but that didn't work. I managed to install the drivers and boot up the software but it always gives an error detecting the GameShark. Some DLL problem that I suspect is related to 32/64 bit issues.
  19. Finally I can contribute something meaningful to a variant list! Bomberman Land Touch 2 exists as a '-1' variant. https://www.ebay.com/itm/115143669357
  20. I moved to a new house recently and just finished setting up my game room again! It's a dedicated game/media room with no windows. I had to keep closing the blinds every evening in my previous room to keep the sunlight off of my games but no more! I will get a projector and screen in a few months along with more seating. The TVs will go away when that happens but for now this is the current setup. Also this is where I work everyday I noticed most people use dark shelves for their collections but I prefer the white because it makes the colors pop. Closer look at the floating shelves: Closer look at the left hand shelves: Closer look at the right hand shelves: These are the highlight sections (to me): Wii U CIB sets and homemade Gameboy cartridge shelves: Game & Watch section (8 to go for the loose set): Samurai section: More close-ups of every shelf on imgur: https://imgur.com/a/UBZWZsu
