‘Thrill Kill’ murderer released back into Santa Clara County

https://www.yahoo.com/news/thrill-kill-murderer-released-back-012710057.html

One of two men who carried out a Satanist-inspired “thrill kill” murder in San Jose was freed from prison and released back into Santa Clara County. Former inmate Jae Williams, 29, was granted early release on November 20, court records show. Williams was a 15-year-old high school student when he and his 16-year-old friend, Randy Thompson, decided they wanted to kill someone. The boys befriended 15-year-old Michael Russell with the sole intention of murdering him in 2009. The victim’s family’s attorney, Scotty J. Storey, told KRON4, “Jae and Randy set out with a goal of killing someone just to find out what it felt like. They cultivated a ‘friendship’ with Mikey, lulling him into a sense of security with them, to achieve their goal.” When San Jose Police Department homicide detectives were investigating the teen’s grisly death, Williams told police that his religion, Satanism, gave him permission to kill.

For their trials, Thompson and Williams were charged and convicted as adults, and sentenced to serve 26 years to life in prison. Senate Bill 1391, passed in 2018, prohibits anyone under the age of 16 from being charged as an adult. After California’s law passed, Williams’ case was transferred into juvenile court.

Wow... California fails victims yet again.

Williams is not allowed to own firearms until he turns 30 years old on June 8, 2024.

Good to know that in Cali, after you murder someone, you have to wait until you're 30 before you can own a firearm. I'm sure that must be a sigh of relief to everyone 🤮

If Williams violates his probation conditions, he could be ordered back to jail for no longer than six months.

That will certainly teach that sociopath! A whopping 6 (or less) more months in jail, he's trembling in his knickers I'm sure.

Another really senseless crime:

https://www.inquirer.com/news/philadelphia/macys-stabbing-philadelphia-center-city-20231204.html

WTF - I am getting sick of the  sense of entitlement some of these sickos have - he got caught stealing hats, they grab the hats and cut him loose.  Lucky him.  Then he comes back and does this - I guess he wanted to show them who they were dealing with.   I know Pennsylvania has the death penalty (even if they rarely invoke it) - this case cries for it.

Oh my gosh - who woulda thunk that actually enforcing a law might reduce a crime?

Hopefully things improve, they certainly appear to be.

This is just out and out pathetic.  In addition to whatever meager punishment (in relation to the severity of the assault) is meted out this miscreant needs to have those bridge card benefits removed for a long time also.

The force is weak with this one!  Not too bright to get her real license plate (the pros steal some and use those) on camera.  I am glad to see they are throwing the book at her - in this case I really like the fact that they are seizing her vehicle.

Well, as scary as this is, at least these things tend to only happen in third world countries, and California...

https://www.cbsnews.com/losangeles/news/compton-bakery-ransacked-by-mob-from-nearby-street-takeover/

The ordeal reportedly began when when hundreds of people were gathered at a nearby street takeover at N. Santa Fe Avenue and El Segundo Boulevard early Tuesday, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies. At around 2:30 a.m., however, the crowd shifted their attention to Ruben's Bakery & Mexican Food, located on N. Santa Fe Avenue.

Surveillance footage from outside the bakery shows a white Kia slamming into the entrance twice while in reverse, moments before dozens of people flood inside.  Cameras inside the store then show the suspects ransacking the business, where they allegedly took lottery tickets, cash and merchandise, leaving behind a massive mess and considerable damage. Deputies, who received calls for both the street takeover and the robbery, arrived to the scene to find trash burning in the street and the front of the bakery smashed in.

No arrests have yet been made and deputies did not provide descriptions on any of the suspects involved.

I'm sure if the perpetrators are found, they will be given a very strict verbal warning. That will teach them! But hey, I'm sure the governor will fix this. After all, Cali is only what, only facing a $68 Billion Deficit --

'It's the wrong house': Audio of Ohio police raid that left a baby injured raises new questions

The mayor of Elyria, Ohio, has ordered an investigation after a woman alleged that police officers who raided her home had the wrong address and deployed flash-bang devices that sent her 1-year-old to the hospital with burns.

The search warrant was for the Parmely Avenue residence, but was issued for a person who hasn’t lived there in over a year, Price said, sharing the search warrant left by police at the home...At 3 p.m., the Ring camera records several voices that appear to be of the police. Then a man's voice says, "Woah, it's the wrong house."

Fortunately, the Elyria police department later apologized for their blunder, and offered the mother and child full restitution, and have taken steps to make sure this never happens again... haha! you don't really believe me did you? NOPE -- the police have done nothing they should. They're not taking responsibility for anything, and have even posted some BS excuses on facebook --

Mother of Michigan school shooter admits she and husband gifted their son the gun used in the attack

https://www.cnn.com/2024/02/02/us/jennifer-crumbley-michigan-school-shooter-trial/index.html

“It’s a rare case that takes some really egregious facts,” she added. “It takes the unthinkable, and she has done the unthinkable, and because of that, four kids have died.”

However, the defense has argued that the blame lay elsewhere: On her husband for improperly securing the firearm; on the school for failing to notify her about her son’s behavioral issues; and on Ethan himself, who actually pulled the trigger. Jennifer Crumbley was the only witness called.

“I’ve asked myself if I would have done anything differently, and I wouldn’t have,” she testified Thursday.

She's guilty as sin. Yes, she didn't pull the trigger, but she might as well have just left a loaded gun outside. I hope she gets the absolute maximum possible sentence.

I'm not claiming the whole story is bunk but the picture of that guy is pasted in over the background.  The image of him is flat and clearly not a 3 dimensional person who is physically present in the room.  Look at the edges of the person, particularly along the shirt.  His image is too sharply delineated from the background.  Once you know what it looks like it will always jump right out at you.  Furthermore that room is gloriously well lit.  With very nearly nothing like a shadow to be found there is light shining down over almost every visible inch including a massive glare on the table and yet, the guy is poorly lit by comparison.  Conclusion: He isn't actually in that room (If it didn't have that guy pasted in it would look like a very professional shot for a real estate magazine or something.)  If I had to take an educated guess, I'd say that whoever produced the photo wanted people to see this guy in a really nice looking home with an absolutely KILLER view.  Was that part of the remodel too?  Kinda makes the original publisher a lier doesn't it?
